i can't sleep hungry, so since it's after midnight, i'd count the cals toward the next day & if it is earlier, being 100 cals over every so often isn't going to ruin our goals :o)

calculate your BMR in the tools & it'll tell you what your body burns daily at your height & weight- meaning your maintenance calories.

as you lose weight, the maintenance cals will lower too. i am pretty inactive right now (unemployed), close to my goal weight, & only 5'3"... making my maintenance is only 1277 :o/ so nope, barely any raised.

i started Ripped in 30 today & it was intense! the 3rd circuit i had to put down my weights & by the second cardio, i was really pushing, BUT i made it through & it'll only get easier from here. i started a blog to track my progress with before pictures & measurements :oD
