  • Thanks, @durden . Yeah, it's even worse today. On Wednesday it last sync'ed around 9 am saying 783 steps even though by the end of the day I had over 7700. I still think giving us a way to explicitly request it would be a good idea even when it's working properly.
  • MyFitnessPal isn't getting updated with the step count from my fitbit. It's worked fine for months but around midday today it stopped getting the Fitbit step count into MyFitnessPal.
  • OP here. It started working yesterday after I rebooted my phone but maybe that was coincidence. It stopped syncing today again around 5 pm ET and still isn't working at close to 9 pm though I've rebooted twice.
  • It started working fine for 2 days but now today just after midnight, the Fitbit app itself shows yesterday's step count as today's instead of going back to 0. Before today, the Fitbit app matched the FitBit. Even syncing doesn't fix what the FitBit app says so it's no surprise that mfp has yesterday's count too.
  • It's happening to me too. Fitbit Versa 2, Android Samsung S23. Today it's showing yesterday's step total and not giving me calories for my morning bike ride. At least I'm in good company here.
  • I have a cold now and don't feel up to exercising so I won't. I think I have at times in the past though. I would say if you feel up to it, go ahead.
  • I use vibrate and a sound on my Droid but I don't text much - mostly with my (grown) kids and 1 sister and 1 friend. Most people my age (50's) don't text. I didn't know that vibrating uses more power - thanks for that info. I do use a USB charger at work with my laptop. My Droid just barely makes it through the day without…
  • I think it's a bad idea. You should be able to hear what's around you, even on a bike path. I know when I'm cycling and say "on your left" when I pass someone with ear buds or headphones and they can't hear me, it makes me worry that they might move into my path, not realizing I'm passing them.
