I have had IBS all my life and I also struggled to leave the house and would be doubled up 8n pain every day. I have been gluten free for several years now as my GP thought that wheat intolerance played a big part in it. I was also referred to a Dietitian who put me on the Low FODMAP diet. It was very tough...especially…

Hi. I take a high dose of gabepentin AND Lyrica. I have been on it for a few years now and have gained 5 stone. I have a friend in the same position as well. I find it very hard to lose weight. I manage to lose about 8 pounds then it comes to a stop and quickly goes back on again :(

I would add it to your lifestyle when setting your options. If it is something you do as part of your everyday routine I wouldn't count it as extra exercise. xxx

I live on my own. I do have a tv and I do tend to have it on pretty much continually...but it is the 24 hour news channel and it's just because I don't like silence in the house and I'd rather have that on than the radio. I RARELY watch anything on it. I just like the comforting sound of voices. I don't want to have to run…

I will be sat at home comforting my terrified dog and cats once again for the fifth night in a row. It's bad enough having to have them terrified for one night but I just hate how it goes on for several nights. :(

I've just got mine today and already I am totally addicted to it! I love the website and all the detailed data it gives you. I've hit a bit of a plateau with my weight loss and I'm hoping this will be the long-term solution to my weight problems. x

I'm doing Weight Watchers and I find it soooooo easy. The trick to it is to weigh EVERYTHING and don't guesstimate. I've never used SW so I can't really comment on it but I do read loads of posts on the WW message boards from people who've swapped from SW to WW because they find it much easier. xxx

Hiya. I'm a fellow shorty...5ft 1 and a half. The half is very important as I'm sure all fellow shorties will agree! I'm looking to lose 4 stone (56 pounds) and would dearly love to make some friends and to offer mutual support. If anybody would like to be my friend I'd appreciate the add. Good luck everyone. xxx

I usually plan and log my meals and snacks the day before. I find it much easier to stay on track when I know exactly where I am.

I have a very similar problem and my consultant has advised that I don't do any impact or contact sports. Swimming or cycling were recommended for me and I can also use a cross trainer and rowing machine if I went to a gym. I would suggest you speak to a doctor before doing any form of exercise though. xxx
