I do my official weigh-in each Saturday morning after breakfast and Zumba. So it's around noonish. I hop on the scale each morning at home just to make sure I'm not headed in the wrong direction, but I don't stress too much over the fluctuations I see. If I did I'd go a little nutso.

Long hair. A thousand times YES!

The song Eleanor Rigby and Blue Meanies. Apparently most of my heebie-jeebies are Beatles-related. Oh, and that weird stop motion animation like you see in the opening credits for Monty Python.

This is something I am really looking forward to! I'm hoping in about 10 or 15 pounds or so they'll come out of hiding. I can hardly wait! Congratulations on your awesome NSV!

You might try adjusting the amount you want to lose...if you have it set at 2 pounds a week, perhaps reduce that to one pound a week, that should give you about 250 calories to work with.

Impressive results. Quite an astonishing difference.

Little changes will make a big difference. But you have to start NOW. This very second. Don't waste one more minute not living the life you want to live. Start small and don't give up if you screw up...and you will. We all do. Be honest with yourself. Be patient with yourself. But take the first step and don't wait to…

My little sister is the reason I found MFP! It has made such a difference for me and I am so glad she told me about it. It's not about deprivation, it's about fueling your body and making wiser choices, taking things one day at a time. I hope your sister has the same experience I did. My life has changed for the better. :)

JungleJim. But that's probably already taken, I imagine.

Get Campus Security. That's harassment.

The exercise is just a goal, it doesn't figure into your calories because it's not guaranteed you'll do it. That is where your activity level comes in. THAT is what sets your calories. I have mine set at sedentary because I work a desk job and I'm sitting for 10 hours a day. Even though I exercise, I don't base my activity…

Gorgeous dress, beautiful girl. I say wear it and be fabulous.

I just hated the idea of pitching the whole thing, especially as they're not in season and are a little more expensive. :ohwell: Thanks for all the input!

I wish I would have thought of that. I need a moldy food arsenal. Launch the tomatoes!

I have the theme song from The Big Bang Theory! Yes, I know I'm awesome. Please hold your applause.

Anything is effective if it gets your heart rate up and gets you sweating. Whatever gets you moving. That's the key. I like Leslie Sansone, but if she doesn't inspire you, or you don't feel challenged, then find something else you enjoy! There are so many choices out there....

I wouldn't be surprised if your withdrawal is mostly psychological. It is utterly amazing the effect our mind can have on our body.

I work the night shift so I know what you mean about a screwy eating/sleeping/whatevering schedule...you sound like you might be around my level of crazy, so I'll add you. (Where's the "crazy" emoticon? We should really have one.)

Drinking some right now! It's even in my Profile Pic at the moment! :drinker: I wouldn't be without it, it's on my diary almost every day in some form or another...

Just an update, I was browsing on YouTube and found a gold mine of fun Zumba routines, some of them Zumba Chair, some of them Zumba Gold, and some regular Zumba. This guy has easy to follow smooth-flowing choreography and I found his routines quite enjoyable! Here's his channel! Have fun!…

If this helps even one person to live a healthier, more active life, then I am thrilled! Just tryin' to spread the word and share the love!

Truth spoken. ( Preach it, sister! ) Thank you for this post.

Every single thing they have at Forever 21.

You are perfectly lovely in both pictures, but you look much happier in the second one. Congrats on your accomplishment!

First of all, congrats on getting out there and working it! Not always easy, but worth it. Secondly, maybe the elliptical just isn't for you. There are a myriad of other cardio exercises out there and you should do the ones you enjoy. Don't base it on the calorie burn. Do what you like. And keep up the good work!

The main reason I never joined WW was the cost. I always said if they'd pay me back all that money at the end, when I reached my goal, I might consider joining. Money is a great motivator. LOL.
