Yup!! We'll get there... then make up our minds on just how amazing we want to be!!! :)

34 and am working on 50ish pounds. I'll make my mind up when I get closer lol :p

Started over recently and really prefer this to the standard 5k training apps that I have done previously. More interesting and engaging and the run patters are slightly different.

Wow, you look amazing!! I wish I would have kept some of my bigger cloths!

Watched Warm Bodies and was just talking about it with a co-worker this morning. Not a complete waste of time but not my cup of tea either. I found myself judging their zombie acting abilities lol. Some parts just seemed to drag on too long. There were a few laughs though. An interesting one to watch is "The Man from…

You guys are doing great!!! And still more people joining, awesome!!! W1D2 in the books. Had a little more energy this morning so i continued after and ended up going 4 miles. I'm sure I'll pay for that tomorrow though. Hummm... maybe a little more stretching this evening. Keep kicking butt!

I'll have to agree. I did it for a few months but decided it wasn't for me. I remember everyone cheering me on, pushing myself completely fatigued just trying to finish the WOD and my form was crap. High probably of an injury at some point. That being said, I do know of a couple of boxes that take a slightly different…

Just started OVER today! Yeah, let life get in the way a bit. Decided to just start over but try to push a little harder this go round. Great to see so many people giving it a go! Good luck everyone!!

1a. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for that one. I would listen to my body if I were in your shoes though and do more stretching. Maybe some racket ball stretching for the foot. 1b. I would stick to your plan, but try to make sure you have a day of rest before your 5k. So if you need to move it a little, feel free. 2.…

Hi Vardaeml, Yup week 5. Considering stepping back a week as I was down and out due to illness the last week and wasn't able to run so didn't finish week 5. Starting to feel like myself again today. Still super sapped for energy and tired. So maybe a walk this evening and a bit more rest.

To all the slow runners, I feel your pain. I too, run quit slow. It seems though, that if I keep my heart rate around 160-165 I can go for much longer. My body realizes that the thresh hold of pain is not increasing nor is the overwhelming fatigue. But it's still slow. Gonna keep at it though!

Haha, thanks for that! :)

Wow, I'm so easy to shop for its silly. That being said, I don't know your boyfriend like you do. So I can only really speak to what I would like. Also, I see sex is a common answer. If sex is a special occasion in anyone's relationship, I'm sorry. So, carnal desires aside... 1. Some silly toy (Yup, still like them at 34.…

Thanks vardaeml!! It's really great to see so many giving this program a go. I have to say that I've had my bad and good days and even though I don't "enjoy" running yet... but I've glad I've stuck with it so far.

Way to go Jenni!!!!

Awesome Job, good luck on your 10k program!

Hi, not a runner either but determined to complete this thing lol Yes but not static stretching. Look up a quick dynamic stretching routine online. I should do more but I'm getting better at it. Yup, it sucked just as bad for me in the beginning. Now that i'm running 5 minutes that 1 minutes feels quick. Awesome about the…

I'm interested, what does it involve? I'm actually starting a friendly competition with a buddy of mine soon. Extra motivation is always helpful! :)

Thanks so much for your input guys. It's great to see how and what people incorporate additional exercise into their routines! You guys rock!

That is outstanding. Shaving off that time! Can't wait to see what time I can post after finishing the program!
-
Congrats!! Can't wait to get there! I still hate it.... every single time!! hahaha

I did a 5k for fun with a group of friends and came in at 47 minutes. Since then I've started the c25k program and am curious to see how much that time improves upon the completion of this program.

My last run sucked sooo bad!! I think I was dehydrated going into it. Humm, hopefully this week goes a lot better! Keep kicking butt guys!

OMG why!!!! lol

^^This^^ People will either take action in their lives or find excuses.

I'm a bit sporadic on my postings! lol Mine is @randyamc

I have to agree, just go for it. I've done a couple and I take my little gymboss with me and just do jog walk cycles. Kinda like an extended c25k day. It's fun, you'll enjoy it!
-
I notice mine varies also. Some days I walk/jog a whole lot faster and other days. Keep at it and don't give that a second thought!
