A lot of misogynist bollocks on this thread.

I do most of my exercise between 9pm and 12am. Sometimes I do yoga even later if I can't sleep. Partly it's having a kid who prevents any matwork/weights-work while she's awake, and partly old habit. I am far more alive at night than I am in the mornings. But I still prefer morning workouts to afternoon ones.

Novelist. Or top lawyer somewhere Slavic. I plan to be both.

Be able to do 30 proper pushups at a time. Be able to run 5k, then 10k. Keep up my fitness DVDs. Take up some kind of dance class. AND Read more books again, watch more films and not let fitness take over my life.

Probably bread, since one slice of toast easily turns into six or eight. :embarassed:

CONGRATULATIONS! That workout is no joke!! :flowerforyou:

dg, you're so right. I've been doing BFBM for a while now and it's amazing. Glad Jillian had already built up my endurance when I started. That said, the circuit format would make it easy for a true beginner to only do 1/2 or 1/3 or whatever of the workout. Such a great workout, and so rewarding. Well-designed, too.…

Kid or husband has the other half.

Same problem here, but add a C-section scar + scar tissue into the mix. Interested in replies to this.

Ha @ it gets boring. I did Level 1 of the Shred for over a year. :D

My husband is 5 foot 9 and weighs around 11 stone (154 pounds). He is slim, big-shouldered and nicely muscular... just right. I'm two inches shorter and think 135 pounds would be on the light side for me (probably). Why so low? :ohwell:

This is my all-time favourite workout DVD. Never fails to make me sweat in new and interesting ways. (Side of eyebrow, front of shin.)

Rudyard Kipling.

Sadly, this is the crux of it. And Jillian Michaels's Six Week Six Pack DVD can't hurt, either.

Second the question about breastfeeding- apologies if you've answered it. Might be a factor hindering you, I don't know. I held onto the baby weight for ages... in fact, my weight rose considerably in her first year. Then, as my baby breastfed less and less, it came off. She is now on just two small feeds a day at two…

I doubt I'd know what they were if I saw them. I don't examine other people's bodies very closely, nor have any knowledge of what such scars might look like (or where they'd be). Hope you're in a better place now. :flowerforyou:

Bare feet on carpet is what works best for me.

Done! Cheers, got a bit out of breath, just what I needed before bed. (Ladies: remember to go to the loo first :embarassed:)

Inspiring thread.

Someone I'd be friends with in real life.

No. It's tacky and un-English. And more than a bit cruel if your MFP friends aren't getting any.

Haha cupajoe, it's so cute when they "help."

I seriously doubt he wanted to be having this conversation. My husband thinks I weigh nine stone now. HA! HA! HA! They have no idea.

Save more money when it was easy to get work.
