Pregnancy, but moreso the year or so afterwards when breastfeeding gave me an uncontrollable appetite.

To do the "Banish Fat Boost Metabolism" DVD (kick-*kitten* cardio workout) every day this week and next (OK, not Sundays).

Aww, lovely stories. He was my colleague in Moscow. He took me to see the football one weekend and... we were thenceforth inseparable.

-- You are quite right, I meant "litres." Anyway: a ludicrous amount. I doubt most people, in ordinary circumstances, would dream of knocking back so much.

Famously in the 90s a girl called Leah Betts in England popped an ecstasy tablet, panicked and drank seven gallons of water. She was held up as a cautionary tale against illegal drug use, but it was in fact water intoxication that killed her. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leah_Betts

Nimble! I used to eat that when I first went to England, then lost the ability to enjoy it when I found out it was a diet bread. :grumble: I suppose my contribution would be little pottles of yoghurt. No surprise to anyone here, I'm sure, but most of them are only 100 or so calories, maybe 125 for a nice creamy strawberry…

Ha! Likewise, as a teenager, I was told I looked like Samara from The Ring. :)

I don't. Don't want to remember myself all flabby and whatnot when I'm fighting fit and 58kg.

I started Shred six months after my baby was born by emergency Caesar; it had been a long recovery and my body was wrecked at that point. I also had zero energy because of the constantly waking baby. Shred KILLED me but I kept at it (am determined) and within ten days I was noticeably slimmer, with definition in my arms…

Level 2, Day 2 done. I feel like the strength is a bit harder (2.5 kg weights are killing me on the last strength circuit, but I JUST make it), the cardio about the same (a bit harder, maybe, but I always worked twice as hard on Level 1 as shown, because the cardio is a bit easy) and the ab circuits way easier (and way…

1) Drink more water. 2) Get to a doctor if you can. (This happened to me, and it turned out I was preggers.)

Thank God your baby is OK. How horrible for you, though.

I do cardio every day (unless there are extraordinary circs), I think it's fine.

I think BFBM might be a bit easier than Shred, but it's hard to say (since I began with Shred and was stronger when I started BFBM). I would recommend starting with Shred just because it tones you up so visibly so quickly. It's motivating. :)

She knows her onions. I like her a lot, too.

WIthout knowing your vital stats, I'd say not to worry too much about it at the age of 17, especially since you're eating healthily most of the time. There are no "bad" foods, you know, just some that have fewer nutrients than others. A lot of "bad" foods (such as pizza) can be really rather good for you, depending on how…

Killer Buns and Thighs, despite the idiotic title, is also wonderful. And I'm loving the cardio segments in particular from her Body Revolution DVDs.

You need to give your muscles a bit of R and R in between times! :) Work one group, then rest it the next day. You can do arms Monday, abs Tuesday, etc, but don't do the same lot two days in a row. I would personally take one rest day a week, or at least have one day that only involved light cardio. You WILL perform better…

I am so sorry for your losses. Please be kind to yourself, is all I can say. XXX

Feel free to add me. Sarah.

Could be because you're drinking more water (if you are). But it could also be psychological. I used to simply love crisps, and now feel ill at the thought of them. It's just because now I know how revolting, nutritionally poor and fatty they are.

Can't stand Kate Moss, but I do like the (adapted) mantra of "Nothing tastes as good as slim feels."

Jillian Michaels is great. I had decent cardiovascular fitness before starting her and she still killed me/ If you use decent (2kg+ weights), do all the hard versions of exercises and go twice and fast on the cardio (where possible), she is intense. I love the Shred and have just tried NMTZ for the first time- ouch.

Hi, also new. :)
