  • I noticed that too. I also noticed that when I looked at all of the nutritional info they had on their all of their veggies, nothing was written down. Everything was zero of everything, calories and all. So I added each individual veggie, bread, and meat and the sandwich ended up being around 500-600 calories, it could…
  • I say go with low calorie sweets. If you crave chocolate, eat pudding. Not a lot of calories and gives you the chocolate you want. Jello has a lot of really good low calorie puddings that are awesome!
  • My current weight is what my doctor said I needed to be at. I feel good and more confident than I have in a long time and definetly not deprived but I constantly worry... I still have a small baby belly and that is the only thing I would change
  • Ha Really my problem is that I get hungry around 3 or 4 and then my husband comes home around 5 and wants dinner, which I end up eating. So when I get hungry do I eat or wait. I know that it is better to eat 6 small meals but how small? And I don't always crave sweets. Its more like everything!:blushing:
  • I did the exact same thing after my second baby. I tried to eat about 500 to 700 calories more a day for the baby and I did really well. Good Luck!! I would just make sure that you are eating enough because at first I didn't and it made my baby really fussy.
  • Just wanting a few opinions. I am 21 and a mom of two. I have used MFP since the begining of this year and lost around 25 to 30 lbs. I am now at my perfect weight 145 and I am 5'8". Being overweight runs in my family so I constantly worry about my weight and the way I look. Should I try to loose more or stay where I am at?…
  • I mix cream cheese and salsa together and then spread it on the tortillas before putting chicken and cheese on it.
  • I know the feeling all to well. After my first daughter, I would fix sugar cookies almost everyday and eat them all. I didn't think anything about it until after my second daughter. I had gained about 20lbs with my first and never even realized it. With my second, I did really well! I ate better and made a complete…
  • My goal is to get past the cravings. I guess I think that treating it like a drug and taking it away completely will help get me past the whole addiction. I still plan on eating yogurt and occationally peanut butter (sparingly), but as far as cookies, cakes, ect... no more. I have given up pop and that seems to be going…
  • I will have to try that! Thanks! And yes I am being strict on myself and I cant say that things are going to go well but I have very little self control so if I allow myself a hamburger or candy bar, I know it wont stop there, but if I stay completely away I am hoping that I will regain that control and then for the…
  • Good Luck! You are a very strong person! And I know that you are going to look awesome when your husband comes home!
  • I have decided that from here until at least Thanksgiving I will eat no more desserts or candy, drink nothing but water and milk, and avoid butter, fatty, and sugary foods. I lost around 30lbs just by eating right and eating less than I had been but I can no longer lose weight. I don't really care about loosing the weight…
  • Is the reduced fat peanut butter really that much healthier than regular? The calories are the same, the fat is lower, but everything else is higher
  • I have tried so many different types of exercises to tone my abs, so far the only thing that actually made me sore was simply lifting my legs off of the floor together and then lowering then but not letting them touch the floor. It works!!
  • Is popcorn an okay snack? It seems like it would be healthy because the calories are low but wanted to make sure. I don't eat the buttered kind, just kettle corn which adds sugar but not that much. Anyway, any opinion would be great

  • I just found a great way to curb my chocolate cravings! The quaker chocolate crunch rice cake is awesome! It gives that chocolate flavor that I want but also provides whole grain and fills me up like a huge brownie or piece of cake would! My 2 year old daughter likes them too which is great because she is so picky and I…
  • One large egg with 1 tsp of salsa, cheerios, 1.5 cups skim milk, and vitamins
  • Its Okay! Everyone deserves a cheat day. I have noticed that if you weigh every single day your weight will vary. Like if on monday I weigh 145, then tues, 143, wed, 147, I know that I really weigh about 145 because that is the average. They say to weigh at the exact same time every time you weigh and take the average and…
  • I lost the five pounds I wanted too but am now struggling to keep it off. I have all of a sudden became hungry and am never satisfied. I don't know if the fact that I am breastfeeding has something to do with it but I am afraid to just pig out because I did that with my first daughter and gained 25 pounds. I know that I…

  • Does anyone have a good exercise to get rid of the baby belly? I have been doing sit ups but I don't think they are working to well. I have heard that Turbo Jam helps but just wanted to check and see.
  • Welcome! Good luck!:flowerforyou:
  • I started out eating around 1500 calories a day and not having any problems. Then I found out that because I am breastfeeding I need about 500 more calories, so I began eating around 2000 calories. Now I can't get full. I eat a big breakfast and that satifies me for a long time but for some reason, as soon as I eat dinner…
  • Yes! Thanks for all of the help!:flowerforyou:
  • My BMR is 1490. If I eat that amount of calories everyday will I stay at the same weight or lose weight?
  • Welcome!
  • I always have a big breakfast to help give me all day energy and curb my cravings. One of my favorites is a slice of cheese, low fat ham, and an egg all on a toasted english muffin with a glass of skim milk and an orange (or some other fruit). I get at least one of each of the food groups this way and it keeps me satified…
  • The only way I can think of to help prevent being sore is to start out slow. If you exercise until you feel it burning you will be sore. Hope this helps.
