Hey there, One of your p90x peeps here. I think you're definitely trying to take on too much. You are likely to injure yourself with that amount of work. If you're doing the p90x workouts with intensity, it should take care of most of your exercise needs if not all. I trained for and completed a marathon in 2004. It was…

Ok I'm an ex 300 pound plus member. I know how crumby it can feel to feel bad about yourself. Actually I was 314 four months ago! I know what is like to have bad knees too. The metabolism number, well that an change if we start feeding our body the correct food. If you want to make a change and commit to something, then…

Hi there, I'm currently on my second round of P90X. I've learned a ton along the way. What version you choose all depends on your long term goals and fitness level. You have to be in fantastic shape to tackle doubles. I wouldn't recommend it for your first attempt. Either start with Lean or Classic. Lean is a little less…

Such hostility isn't necessary. I think people formulating their own workout programs is awesome. I also believe losing a bunch of weight while doing both cardio and strength training is also beneficial. I'm digging P90X a lot. It has been a huge motivating influence in my life recently. Yes I'm a beachbody coach now, and…

I need the support of others too. I'm following a fat shredder diet composed of 50 percent protein, 30 percent carbs and 20 percent fat.…

Hi Shella Bella, The first few days are really hard. You shouldn't feel hungry. If you are listen to your body and eat a little more. If you need to add more spinach or green leafy vegetables to your serving of protein (chicken, fish etc) go for it. Adding complex carbohydrates like brown rice can help as well. Shawn gave…

It helps to eat more of the right things. Increasing your consumption of green leafy vegetables and protein rich foods will absolutely Make you more healthy. That's the theory I'm working on at the moment. If you eat more salty and/or sweet foods weight loss will not occur from eating more. I'm no expert and I've had my…

Feel free to add me. I'm doing my second round of p90x. My weight and more importantly my attitude and confidence are moving along quite nicely.

I am for 50% protein to maximize my fat loss. Why does this work? Protein is not easily converted into fat unlike carbs. Your body actually burns additional calories trying to store protein. It is also excellent for keeping you satisfied and critical for maintaining or gaining lean muscle mass. Good luck
