Agreed Dillion. I'm the biggest soda addict on the planet. I crave the fizz and sugar sometimes. In my heyday I would consume a 24 pack of coke zero in a week (easy). Water doesn't always cut it when I crave the fizz and food combo. I've found that sparkling water and a combo of black tea (non sweetened Trader Joes) or…

A start is a start. Out of the 250+ days I've been rolling with my journey I've probably only nailed my nutrition to a tee roughly 10 times. The mere fact we are conscious of our food decisions is a massive step in the right direction.

Hi David, Thank you so much for joining us. The very fact that you have such an important goal to meet makes you a winner already. It will take hard work, consistency and thoughtful nutrition, but you can and will get there. My family is my number one motivator too.

You can and you will do this Eric. We will support each other through accomplishing small steps everyday. The compound effect of small changes can create something very special. So honored to have you with us.

Pure protein shakes are really good, nice choice. I really like that brand. If you're on the lookout for a healthy snack, Kind bars are really good. All natural no GMO's I like the Dark Choc protein nut bar - so good- high in fat but good fat. Thanks for logging Dillion

You have more than enough to begin. Try a combo of bands and pull ups. Start with assisted pull ups and when you get fatigued go to the bands. Pull ups are hard but keep at it because they are so beneficial, my wife is banging out 6 unassisted pull ups now. Thats more than me (whoops did i say that lol)
-
Mandy I'm not a woman (lol) but my wife uses 2lb, 5lbs, 8lbs, and 15 lbs for heavy duty execises such as Heavy Pants (you will get to know the names) The bands are great as well. It is hard to comment on the bands because everyone seems to use different brands, hence different tensions. Excited for you :)

I agree with the above statement. Low carb really means eating in a way our bodies are designed for. Our ancestors were never exposed to the insane amount of refined sugar that is present in modern day diets. Will you put on weight if you go back to eating too much sugar? Absolutely, a balanced long term sustainable…
