  • You are headed in the right direction. MFP has several ways to get you to your weight loss goals. I have been a member for a while and just this year searched for a group and used the message boards. They are a great resource and everyone here is supportive because we are all fighting the same battle.
  • Mmmm. Peanut butter and chocolate are my weakness and this certainly looks like a healthy way to get my fix. I have been wanting to try shakes or smoothies for breakfast and this seems like a good start. Thanks for posting!
  • Friends do make it better. I had no idea what all MFP offered until this year. I joined my first group and got friends and it is amazing how supportive since they are going through the same things.
  • I struggle with stress as well. I changed jobs mid year last year. Where I was last year afforded my the ability to walk in a nice park on my lunch and eat when I wanted and was a small office of eight. When I changed jobs I came to a place of 100 and cannot walk on my lunch and must go to lunch between 11-12, so I am…
  • The DVDs will get you started, but eventually you will have to try something else. The body gets use to a certain workout and it won't be challenging anymore. Be sure to mix it up. When it is nice outside try to go for a walk outside. Walking is great for fitness. Honestly I was in the same boat as you. I started to lose…
  • I am exactly like you. I eat healthy during the day. Pack my lunch and breakfast for work and when I get home I am hungry. Mostly because I have to take lunch from 11 - 12. When for years I have ate 12:30/1ish. It is even harder that when I get home my husband wants us to eat the same meal together and he loved food fried…

  • So I am up two pounds in the last 2 weeks. Not happy about that. My downfall is the weekend. I can be very strict during the week and I get exercise. I hope to maybe mix up my weekends with work out DVDs and with the nice weather some outside walks. I also plan to do a purge this weekend and get rid of any bad tempting…
  • I am in! I want to knock of about 10 lbs. I plan to control my portion sizes, do more cardio and hopefully even more when it warms up outside. I am wanting to cut down on sugar and sodium, which sugar I think I am getting on track with, but not sure how to control sodium. I may need to do some research on what I should…
  • I am on a 1200 calorie plan as well. I do pretty good during the week when I can get in work outs, but weekends are hard. I am on the go and I just don't have good healthy options. I also have a problem with sugars. I operate on the weird notion that I need a sweet to signal my meal is over. I have found some better…
  • It would be neat to find my twin who understands my weight loss issues. Height 5'3" SW: 139 CW: 131 GW: 115 I know I can get to this weight I have been there before, then I got married and gained that newlywed 20 no one tells you about.
