  • I have a gain this week. No surprise to myself. I have been lazy and the heat has been oppressive making it hard to get outside. My LW 134.5 CW 135.5 I am kicking myself in the rear and getting it in gear. I have great dress I want to wear for Christmas and I am and I plan to look FABULOUS in it!
  • I am down half a pound. Not great. I can certainly do better. I want to say I had a lot going on and I did, but I need to make a habit out of exercise. I am certainly going to start scheduling it in. I want to see more than 0.5 lbs. lost.
  • 1) All the work I put into losing weight just to put it back on! 2) The cute clothes in my closet mocking me! 3) Having skin on my body chaff and touch where it didn't before.
  • I started the year strong. Lost a total of 11 lbs. Then came summer and I backslid. Now only at 3 lbs. lost. Really want to look amazing for myself and fit into my winter clothes. I don't want to bundle up and hide this fall & winter. Name: DanaBM Start weight: 136 Goal weight: 115 BMI: 23.3 Lets do this!
  • Ok. I finally figured out how to measure distance on my elliptical and it looks like I have been doing at least 6 miles a day Monday - Friday. This morning I did 6.75 Miles in 15 minutes. Doesn't seem right, but that is going my the calculations I have found. No weight loss yet, but I plan to get outside and start with a…

  • Happy to join. With warmer weather coming I will be hitting the pavement and hopefully get back in the habit of my daily afternoon jog. What I think is some of the best therapy! I currently get up every morning and to time on my elliptical, typically no less than 15 minutes. It keeps up with distance, but in RPM and I am…
  • I only did half Thursday and none over the long weekend. I have been considering quitting, but this totally is not my style. I hope I can find my motivation and get caught back up.

  • I am still a day behind. I am having knee issues. I plan to go get some braces, but have not made it yet. I am currently sticking to the modified moves. I think all the jumping jacks did a number on me from Level one, so I typically do the twist things when she says do jumping jacks. The skaters are my favorite move in…

  • I did complete yesterday, but forgot to post. I did half in the morning and the other half in the evening. Didn't like it this way, but having knee pains so had too.

  • I am still here and my body is feeling it. I took Sunday off because I am starting to feel the knee pan so many people talked about. I feel it doing the jumping jacks, so I was happy to see them little in round two. I will hopefully double up today and get caught up.
  • Day 1 of Level 2 complete!! I will be hanging in the beginners level for a bit, but I am excited about some of the exercises. I can feel my workout and hopefully that is a good thing. I was terrified of the walking pushup, but at the moment I kind of like it. I hope this mentality last! So far feeling good and I brought my…
  • I had a weird pain on the side of my knee and then got to watching how I was doing the jumping jacks and noticed I was kind of pigeon toeing it. So I have made sure I don't turn my toes in and I just go slower on my jumping jacks to make sure I do them correctly. I totally hate the squat and press. Sometimes I can't even…

  • I totally forgot to start Level 2 today and I only did half of one, but plan to do the other half when I get home this afternoon. Maybe I will just go ahead and do all of level two! I have not seen a change in weight, but like WordWhimsy I notice a flatter stomach and I have more muscle in my arm that I can feel when I…
  • I completed my shred this morning. I enjoy starting with it, but gosh it makes me so hungry. I have noticed that I can do the workouts more like I should now and hopefully it will carry over to level two this week. I am ready for level two as I have been hanging at the same weight for 2 weeks. We completed our biggest…
  • Day 8 completed. I am tired of Jillian's voice. I am nervous for Level 2, but so ready to BRING IT ON. Last night while getting ready for bed my husband said he could tell I was losing weight. That meant more to me than the numbers on the scale.
  • Same here! I put on a pound. But I was previously only working out on the elliptical so I think some of my muscles are in shock and trying to repair. We will all get there and drop some weight!
  • I have noticed an uptick in my hunger as well. I used to get up work out and then be able to wait till I got to work to eat my oatmeal. But at the halfway point in the work out all I can think about is Frosted Flakes. Thankfully I stuck to my oatmeal this morning. Hopefully we can all find a balance on this.
  • Completed this morning. My hubby is on vacation this week so I told him he is banned from the living room till 5:30 and he was such a trooper. I am really proud that I maintained my workout over the weekend as well. I typically do not. I do find things are getting easier, but those jumping jacks after the jump rope were…
  • Day 4 completed! I now am starting to hate the squat and press thing. Kills my arms. :ohwell: I sure hope that changes. I hope I can keep this up on the weekend. I typically let my workouts fall to the bottom of my least. I may double up Saturday and rest Sunday. Here is hoping! :drinker:
  • I am 5'3" and currently 128.5 lbs. I am totally pear shaped. I am small busted, but have a big ole butt that thankfully my husband loves and big thighs from years of dance. I have nice calves though. I do the elliptical every morning for at least 15 minutes and I have added the 30DS. In the afternoon I try for a 20 minute…
  • My living room. It is a large room and in one corner I have my elliptical with my work out mat and weights, so I go from my elliptical to this in the morning. Thankfully I am home alone.
  • Day three done. My thighs are hurting and I too am hating the stairs in my house. However I am now feeling it in my arms. So glad. I too have to get it in in the morning. One because I am not sure if I can get it in in the afternoon and also I don't want my husband to see me making a fool of myself.
  • Starting stats: Age: 30 Height: 5'3'' Weight 128.5 Bust:33 Waist below belly button: 33 Waist above bellow button: 28.5 Hips and Butt: 42 Below Butt: 37.5 Thighs: 20 Biceps: 11 I totally hate that without Victoria Secret, my chest and belly are the same. :grumble: That is the one thing I want most from this. Also these…
  • Got up 20 minutes early this morning so I can get this done in the morning. I am breaking a good sweat and hope it does get better like she says, but if this is level one I am going to find level two and three very interesting if they are the same length of time. My thighs are feeling. Not a fan of the push ups because I…
  • Day 1 Completed last night and boy did I break a sweat. It seem to take forever and she is talking about a 20 minute work out but it took 27 minutes...Weird, but I guess she doesn't count the warm up and cool down.
  • This will be helpful! Thanks!
  • Hey all! My name is Dana and live in the sticks of Tennessee. I made a lifestyle change two years ago, but fell off the wagon last summer and put all the weight I worked so hard to lose back on. I had a great workout DVD that I loved, but it seemed to be the same ole same ole and it was no longer challenging. I found the…
  • I weighed myself this morning and got a good boost. I have lost 2.5 lbs since my weigh in last Monday! Yey me! Although I am still a pound above three weeks ago, but I am at least on the right track. My HW 139 LW 115 ( I want this again and to be able to maintain) CW 129 GW 115
  • I started to pay attention to portion sizes and eating just those for a year and I lost 8 pounds. Then I got a simple work out DVD, bought and elliptical and got outside to exercise and lost 8 more. \ One tip that helps me is I will log something before I eat it to see if it is "worth it", if it looks like it will cause me…
