False, I'm a Netflix girl. TNP loves reading.

False. I'm lucky if I get to go once a month! TNP feels good about themselves for the way they're managing their weightloss/diet/exercise.

Starving people don't tend to have the the body fat in the first place. They haven't already screwed up their metabolism. I take your point, and I agree that if those dieters who are in starvation mode stayed there for many months/years, of course they'd lose weight. But, we're talking about maybe 4 weeks of starving the…

Thanks for the invite! :)

Make a new goal. :)

I use: http://www.channel4.com/4food/recipes/popular-dishes/slow-cooker & http://www.cookuk.co.uk/slow-cooker-recipes-index.htm for generic stuff, but I mostly use chicken, so http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipes/tag-2119/slow-cooker-chicken-recipes.aspx is a life saver. For a specific dish, I recommend Ch4's Honey/Mustard…

Being 'in love' is a chemical reaction, triggered in the brain when you start seeing someone new. Over time (usually about 18 months) your brain produces less of THAT chemical, substituting it for the one you build up over time. REAL love, as opposed to the animal magnetism that attracts a couple in the first place.…

Great post. :)

Thanks for this. Made me smile (and recognise that I'm guilty of at least two!), which on a Monday morning is no mean feat.

Absolutely not, but she is aware that I am exercising & eating less cr@p because I am overweight & I want to be healthier. She is at the lower end of 'normal' (8yrs old with ADHD - she has lots of sports clubs, dancing, gymnastics etc), and though we discuss healthy food vs 'bad' food (that is fine once in a while, but not…

WOW. You are absolutely stunning (and always were, but the hard work you put in really shows). :)
-
I'm beaming for you. You must be so proud. :)

There's a really good reason that the FDA made ephedrine a controlled substance (ie: took it off the market): It's really bloody dangerous. Yeah, I lost 3 stone pretty easily, but I also developed severe anxiety bordering on the agoraphobic (I couldn't leave the house to get milk!), suffered regular panic attacks, and…

Wow, I wish I looked that gorgeous after working out!! :)
-
Wow, what a lot of hard work! You look fantastic. :)

Yeah, I get these, and haven't found anything that helps beyond taking a Dioralyte half an hour before exercising to replace electrolytes. Just drinking water - up to 2L! - just made me really nauseated during exercise. Give that a go?

Gibbs (NCIS). I would do bad, bad things to that man.

Firstly, MASSIVE KUDOS to the (sadly, very few) posters who mentioned that different people are attracted to different things. My faith in humanity has been somewhat restored, so thanks for that. Having said which, there are a LOT of really unpalatable posts on this thread, including the OP's. Treating all women as if…

You, sir, win an internets.

Congratulations, you look fabulous. You are so beautiful!
-
Wow. That is literally jaw-dropping.

It sounds like it'll NEVER be good enough, and I suspect that's a problem with your mind rather than your body. You have lost 7 stone which is an AMAZING accomplishment, and by rights you should be shimmying naked from the rooftops telling anyone who'll listen how proud you feel of yourself! A previous poster mentioned…

.... being fatter than I looked in a photograph. Apparently I was a really nice girl, but he 'preferred his women petite'. This, after a month of real-time relationship! To his credit, he did generously offer that if I lost weight he'd be happy to date me again... Needless to say I didn't take him up on it.

Congratulations, you look incredible. What a smile!! :)

Thanks for sharing. x I still loathe shopping with the depth of passionate hatred most people reserve for murderers, rapists, and people who talk at the cinema. As such, every single item of clothing I've bought for myself over the past 5 years or so has come from eBay. (Except for leggings/large tops/etc that you can…

That's fantastic!! Well done!

I obsess massively about calories, health, burning off, weight loss. However, before I started this, I was obsessed with food... whenever I went somewhere, I'd panic that they wouldn't have the sort of food I liked, or what if I got hungry & there was nothing there. What to have when going out to dinner, what I had last…

If you're eating for comfort (stress, etc), it won't matter *how* much your appetite is suppressed. Maybe look at the reason why you struggle on the stressy days, and why your instinct is to reach for food. Perhaps substitute the crutch with something else, something healthy? That way when you're stressed, you can do…

Lovely! :)

Amazing, you look awesome. :)
