Mollie - when I was first diagnosed I totally blew off the Dr.s suggestion of exercise because I hurt so much, but now I am a total believer! I even do some high impact stuff and it feels good!

Thanks Krys!

Well I kinda fell out of touch this week :frown: I have gained a couple lbs. back and then have been maintaining. It is rather frustrating, but I am going to just keep on going - no quitting! So.. my story Growing up I was always that skinny kid - my kids call them sticks. When I met my husband I weighed 105 (I am 5'6").…

I lost it too - you would think I would put it in my favorites!
-
That sucks! I am having the same challenge and am going to spend some time looking through my food diary - the answer has to be there!
-
bump - these all sound amazing!

Hurray! Those are some of the best motivational NSVs! Congrats and enjoy your day!

I have a gain of almost 2 lbs - but I really think it is because I am still sore from changing up my exercise routine (although yoga did help last night). :ohwell:
-
*sigh* I gained too (2 lbs). The biggest difference this week is no Tae Bo and more weight training. However, I do feel stronger and there are ~gasp~ actually muscles around my stomache. Who would have thought? My legs and arms are more toned. So although there is no weight loss there were some NSVs this week. So…

One of the things that has helped is 30 minutes before I leave work I have a heavy snack. Last time it was hummus, crackers, & some veggies. In addition I have 1 or 2 cups of water. By the time I get home I am not starving! You can do this - don't give up!!
-
So I took some advice I saw and slept in my workout clothes  No excuses! Thinking about going to a yoga class tonight - last time I went it wiped me out, but that was 2 or 3 months ago. I am in better shape now so maybe it won't be as much of a struggle.

Thank you so much for sharing! You have come so far!

Hi there - take out the capitol letters and replace them with lower case. I personally like the blue one with the striped bottom.

Hi everyone! Last week I felt like I was slacking, but am trying really hard to have a net calorie of 1200. That can be a lot harder than it sounds - felt like I was constantly eating at times. LOL - In fact one of my daughters made a comment about me munching and had to explain what I was doing. She is a total…

UUGGGHH - In the course of a week and a half I went from 194 back up to 197 and now back to 195. I am thinking that it took a couple of days to recover from the Turbo Kick I did on Saturday. Ok... feeling better for venting! :ohwell:

How about using the belly dancing? Or possibly just the dancing, aerobic, ballet or modern, twist? The belly dancing sounds closer.

It is a great visual for me and a great tip I got from one of the message boards. Hope it helps out!

Thanks for taking the time to do this Billy!

Ok - so my goal for this week: Cardio 5 days this week for at least an hour a day Weights 2 days this week for at least 45 minutes each time Water - Water - Water! :drinker: Eat my Net calories of 1200 each day (I struggle with that) Watch my sodium - it is to easy to let that get out of control Start cutting out more of…
-
Glad to see you are feeling better! You can do it!
-
Amanda - I have to agree with what everyone else is saying - really watch your sodium. Looking at your diary you are over on your sodium almost everday for the last week. I had the same challenge and have been working REALLY hard at cutting the sodium down. (I even starting throwing stuff away at home because of how high…

Well I totally goofed and didn't post my weight on Friday :embarassed: However, I have posted it now based on my weight that day. Today is my rest day, but right back at it tomorrow Level 2 of 30 Day Shred and at least 30 minutes of either Tae Bo or one of the exercise videos from Netflix for a total of 1 hour per day!…
