Hi, I'm starting again although been on this a while, procrastinating! I'm 53, and want to lose about 45lbs over the next few months. I'd love to talk to other people. I know all the good reasons for doing this but I'm struggling a bit to get started.

Hi there - Ithink the answer is yes as we often retain more fluid. My weight fluctuates by up to 5lbs during that time irrespective of what I eat and most friends say the same. You may find you lose more the week after as the body regulates itself again. regards rosie
