with only 10 lbs to loose, i think you need to eat quite a bit more than 1200 calories a day. The last 10 will be a slow process but once they are off, you will be able to know what you need to eat to keep it off. You should realign your goals and set it to .5 lbs per week. this should give you about 1500 calories per day…

I quit using MFP for about a year. It started as an attempt to get through the holiday season and just maintain my current weight at that time. Then I got out of it and never got back in until about 1 month ago. Welcome back and keep at it.

Personally since starting my journey i have decided to weigh myself officially once per week. However mid week i tend to check it on my personal scale, just to see. My real goal is to stop looking in the middle of the week, and then get to weighing myself once every 2 weeks. I would rather see big numbers than small ones.…
