I really think that you first need to go to the gym and work your way up from the bar on each of the big exercises. once you find where your starting point is, you will be able to see where you can go from there.

I have a set of powerblock dumbbells that go from 10-50 lbs (in 5 lb increments) and I absolutely love them. They are very easy for me to switch when doing a drop set too. My only problem now is that I only bought the PowerBlock Classic which goes up to 50 lbs. I just wish that I would have thought ahead to buy the ones…

I really can't see how you can be 6'5" and want to weigh 150 thinking that 170 is too much for your frame. I am 6'3" and 190 so you can add me as well. i am trying to put on weight, so i always try to eat back my workouts to about a 200 cal surplus. peanutbutter, or a peanutbutter sandwich is a good way for me to put on these calories without completely filling myself up while having a good mix of fats and protein.
