You've hit the nail on the head there - not being able to imagine what it's like to be a healthy weight. That's one of my biggest demotivators. I can't remember being thin so I secretly think I can't change. I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

I agree - I think it can often be helpful to work out the cause of the problem. Otherwise you just end up papering over the cracks without repairing the wall. All my weight so far has disappeared from round my shoulders and the skin has got a little flabby on my arms. I don't really want bingo wings at 23 so every day (when I remember) I get two 400g cans of beans or something and use them as weights for about 15 minutes. It's working.
