Oh lord, yes. I had to repeat several weeks multiple times. I couldn't even sustain running for 30 seconds when I first started (I was NEVER a runner in my entire life). Yesterday I went out and ran for 24 minutes straight. I promise, if you stick with it, you WILL be able to do it. If I can do this, anyone can!

What an inspirational story. I'm so happy that you are pushing yourself to reach these goals! Congratulations on being so close to finishing week 4!

Also, just because I started this thing a year ago does NOT mean it will take you a year to get to this point. This is just the result of my inconsistency with training. The program is about 9 weeks long, give or take a couple of weeks depending on your own abilities!

Thanks everyone! For those who want advice on how to get started: I started a Couch to 5K app about a year ago, and have been doing it on and off (not very consistently). When I started, I could hardly even run for 30 seconds straight. Now I'm up to around 20 minutes. It really is an amazing app. The one I have is called…

I agree with the poster who said to try Turbofire! I used to hate working out and also had a problem with getting really bored. With Turbofire, though, I actually look forward to working out. You move around so much during the workouts that you don't have time to hate it or feel bored! It's a lot of fun.
