Congrats! You made it! You look great!:drinker:

I think it does help. You get encouragement. I was looking at a friend's diary and saw she drank like 27 glasses of water in a day. I drink like 4. I know I have to bump up my water intake. Seeing someone else being successful helps me to feel it is attainable for me as well.

You are an inspiration~ I have an 11 year old son with autism and I want to be healthy for him.

Drink some water, then drink some tea. If you still have the munchies, eat a 130 calorie bag of Trader Joe's microwave popcorn (or any for that matter). You can burn it off tomorrow and not eat the cals back.

I eat 1200 as a base and eat back most of my exercise calories. I joined a while ago and just started back tracking about 12 days ago. You can add me.

I get this way too. Step away from the burger. I looked at your food journal - your calorie totals are perfect. The only thing I would do is 1) ease up on the sodium - You went way over a few days this week and might be holding onto water 2) trade some of the artificial sweetener stuff for real fruits 3) drink more water.…

I know this is meant to be sarcastic, but if there is any truth to the nitrates in spinach and other greens, surely eating organic would help this situation? One observation that I have made is that I can eat organic spinach (frozen then cooked) and baby organic greens without having problems with my asthma. I can't eat…

Nausea and faintness are signs of low blood sugar. You are not eating enough.

I have read some of those posts and I think it is not "one size fits all". I know that my resting metabolism is less than calculators on websites because I wore a body bug and had the actual amount. My nutritionist gave me a daily amount of 1250, whereas my doctor told me 1500 - 1700. So I eat anywhere from 1250 - 1700…

Almonds, any lean protein, a piece of fruit. Eat something whole, natural and full of vitamins (Vitamin c especially, like in an orange, to help your immune system during this flu season.)

:drinker: Cheers to you! You look awesome. Your journey is very motivating!

Welcome! Everyday is a new day! Like one of MFP friends said...this is like free weight watchers. You can get so much support!

I am grateful that my husband started dating me when I was normal weight and now that I am 79 lbs heavier; he still has his hands all over me. (21 years later). I personally would see that person as shallow. (wasn't that the entire premise of "Shallow Hal"?) I don't like being overweight, but in no way do I feel…

I haven't eaten at McDonald's since 1999. And I Don't miss it. Watch the movie supersize me and maybe you'll be able to let go. For me, it was because I was so sick with my asthma, I decided to eat mostly organic or natural foods. I went from 2 inhalers and a pill daily to a rescue inhaler maybe once a week.

I am 5'3 and my goal is 145.
