It has been my experience going from 198 to 172 (20+ more to go) and being 41 years old, that when I was my heaviest all I saw were my chubby cheeks and now everyone notices my eyes. Faces change a lot with weight loss. I have cheek bones that I had forgotten about. We will notice some age lines when we look in the mirror…

I agree awareness and discussion are key in breaking cycles. Just last week in Buffalo NY a doctor fatally shot his ex-girlfriend at work (later killing himself) and left her 4 year old son without a mom the day before his preschool graduation- very sad.

I think it is a good idea to fast once a week to give your body a rest from the work of digestion. Drink water only and start your fast after dinner on Tuesday (for example) and fast until 6pm on Wednesday night when you eat dinner. This way you are sleeping for part of you fast and is a good way to ease into fasting. The…
