I don't use Muscle Milk because it tastes nasty but try another brand if you can. Some places give out or sell samples so you don't have to spend another $20 to $40 just to find out it has the same effect. It could be any number of sensitivities from Whey to Sucralose (Splenda makes me very ill).

I weigh twice a day because I'm curious and don't worry too much about fluctuations. I log it every two weeks or when a loss lasts for a week or more.

I live between Baton Rouge and New Orleans...two of the highest crime cities in the US...I don't do much of anything outdoors, alone and after dark with headphones in. I love string cheese and cottage cheese...that helps meet my protein goal. I know you said you didn't want them but Zone bars or Luna bars taste a lot like real food to me. Actually I don't crave other sweets and I think it's because I have one of those instead.

Polar FT1 Overall accurate, inexpensive but VERY basic. I don't love it but I can't hate it for being what it is. If I would have known how much I would use it, I would have spent a little more for the FT4 or something a little better.

Hard to tell with your diary private. I go up or down 1 or 2 lbs all week but usually see a drop eventually. I often notice a rise after a high sodium day. strangely my weight drop seems to happen after a rest day...you never know. don't sweat it unless you keep gaining.

It's the same consistency as milk but I don't think it tastes much like milk. I use it in cereal and just to drink sometimes but mostly I use it in protein shakes when I'm watching calories. The unsweetened has fewer calories and less sugar than 2% milk.

It's a Polar FT series but because the watch face is turned funny I can't see which one. It could be the FT1 to FT4. Mine has the model name right under the digital readout on the face so if you've already purchased it...check it.
