I am sorry to hear you are having such difficult time! I am also so proud of you for doing the 5K despite your health issues. Many people would just say "screw it". I currently IF and it has helped me break some serious food addictions. My guilty pleasure was potato chips and cookies! But after fasting, it makes you want to eat clean. I went through a similar thing. Everyone is different so you might have to play around to find out what works for you. I ate like every 2-4 hours but did not lose weight, just maintained.
