  • I go to a Plus 24/7 gym and like it. I pay $26 per fortnight. You could see if you have one in your area and contact them to see if they will give you a trial pass.
  • I use the treadmill for my warm up/cool down, but the cross trainer for the cardio part of my workout and I love it. I like that there isn't any impact on your joints and find there is less bounce if you know what I mean, making for a more comfortable workout.
  • I've just started this squat challenge. I'm hoping to finish it, even if it does take me a little longer than 30 days. I like the look of the fitsugar squat challenge as it mixes it up a little.
  • Wow, you look great. Well done! In three months I would like to be 80kgs or a little less (Around 6 kilos to lose) and in a years time from now I would like to be 20kg lighter and a whole lot more confident. Good luck to everyone!
  • There are lots of "last straws" for me: * I used to like going clothes shopping, but now I hate it because what I like and what fits/looks good on me are two different things. I usually come home feeling depressed. * I avoid having full length photos being taken because I hate how I look. * I feel tired and lethargic a lot…
  • My first big goal is to get to 145 pounds, after that I will see how I feel and if I'm still losing weight. If I'm still losing weight, I'll try to get to around 130 pounds. I mostly would like to go back to the weight I was when I was younger and thought I was "fat".
  • Western Sydney, Penrith area. Feel free to add :)
  • I want to build my butt too! Its good to hear that it is possible. I found this workout on Youtube that I want to try once I've lost a bit of weight first and built up some strength. The workout specifically targets the butt and has a variety of workouts so it shouldn't get boring. Here is the link to the first video:…
  • I know I do! I always picture myself as a size 10 or 12 (Australian sizing) and when I think about the future, I see myself as the same size 10-12. However, the reality is that I'm not. And as I have put on weight over the years, I haven't changed how I felt or saw myself. I think that is why I have gotten as big and heavy…
  • Onions. I can handle them in small amounts every now and then, but if I eat a lot of onion or foods containing onion in one go or small amounts over a few days, I get digestive troubles and a lot of pain.
  • Hi! I'm a Design and Technology teacher from Australia in my second year of teaching. I put on a lot of weight towards the end on uni and in my fist year of teaching. I'm trying to change my eating habits and have just joined a new gym. I hoping I will have the motivation to go after I finish up at work at least 3 days a…
  • Hi everyone! I'm 26, from Sydney and looking to lose 20kgs and tone up. I'm doing it solo so it would be great to have some friends so feel free to add me!
  • Hi Shannon, I'm 26 from Sydney and even though I'm been a member of MFP for a while, I've only started using it a bit more seriously and started exercising more recently to help me lose weight and become healthier. I'm looking to lose around 20kgs and tone up. Hopefully we can both achieve our goals! Best of luck!
  • I'd love for my thighs to not touch and overall feel confident and comfortable with my body! I think as I get closer, I might come up with some others too.
