I just started back at work. I have been attending the last two days to get the information that the rest of the teschers get and the time ti plan and collaborate. I'm in Australia. As a contract teacher, I'm supposed to start work tomorrow, so I've just worked the last two days for free. I don't mind so much, but there…

I'm doing a similar 8 week challenge with weighitup.com.au. I can't do the meals, but I sure as heck can and have used the exercise programs they have. Videos etc. It's awesome. :)

There's hope for me yet. :) Thank you.

Hi there. I'm from Brisbane. I worked at MacDonald's on both front counter, drive through, and McCafe. I snagged lots of discount coffee, because Maccas won't give out freebies. But that said, I gained so much weight working there. I ended up taking Xenical in order to try and avoid eating the wrong foods. That and I…

Add me. :) I'm 30 turning 31 this year, I live in Brisbane and I have a three year old. There is a group here (they're new) called Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! There are weekly weigh in's as well just for Aussies, which you are more than welcome to contribute to. :)…

He's my first boyfriend after my divorce, so I have my baggage, and he understands that. He's a great guy and is great with my little girl also. I love the comment about not having to fix insecurities and also hitting your own rock bottom. I'll be working on those along with my other to-do list of stuff to work on. :)…

You have a camera phone!

Thanks for all your input guys. I know it sounds a bit silly, but you don't know what you don't know, so now I know! :drinker:

Yeah. I'm starting to come out my shell a bit. I'm the person who usually won't say boo to someone. :)
-
Thanks. I appreciate your input. :)

Good point. I think I have a major confidence / self esteem problem. :grumble: Working on it though.

It was just so damned frustrating. I've started doing stuff for myself. Maybe I just didn't feel I could do it myself? IDK.

Well done Scott! Glad to have you on board. :flowerforyou:

HI there Scott. Jackie from Brissie. There is an Australian group called "Aussie Aussie Aussie". We also have a weigh in challenge which is for Australian's only. This allows us all to be in the same time zone for weigh ins, it's all in kilos, and we can all support each other. Many of us are friends for all these reasons…

I lost 600g, and I have only just started exercising this year. I am using a site called weigh it up where they give you varying routines to do. I'm supposed to do 4 reps. I did 1 and was beat. But I'm hoping to add another one this evening when it cools down some. Well done everyone!! :flowerforyou:

All of these suggestions have been great. I'm a single Mum and a high school teacher, so I'm up early as, come home late, and try to get Missy in bed at a reasonable hour. I really like the suggestions of the 24 hour gym while Missy is in daycare after work perhaps. I've also got things I can play with her with in the back…

Cleveland, Queensland. I've moved 5 times in 2 years, so hopefully this will be my forever home for a while. :))

There is also an Aussie group as well. Feel free to add me! :)

Thanks! Welcome aboard! I look forward to weighing in with you. :flowerforyou:

I like the Gregory Maguire books. *Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. Wicked: The life and times of the Wicked Witch of the West. I have read both of these (11 years ago), but loved them. My favourite book series is Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series. Kinda like Lord of the Rings. 13 books though. :) Waiting for #13.

Good luck with your journey. I am a bit of a yo yo logger due to getting a job and trying to get a routine going on with my toddler. Best of luck in the future and I'm trying to get some movement doing the 20 minute workout with Zumba and the Wii fit at leats to weigh in every day. :)

Thank you for the recipe and adding it to the database. I'm in Australia and chilli isn't that popular over here. Since going to the USA, I've fallen in love with it. It is similar to one I make. Sometimes its hard to ring recipes from scratch, but this is brilliant. Unfortunately while overseas I also developed a taste…

I am. Please feel free to add me. I'm always looking for Aussies in the same time zone, and eat the same branded food as I do. Cheers, Jackie
