#Nkuyumcu CICO isn't the one true answer, many people on this forum will not accept that---you may need to try something else to lose any extra weight. Spme ppl try a modified IF---they eat nothing before 11am and have an 11am-7pm eating window, or even stop at 5pm. Not sure what is best for you but if you're determined,…

#Beauxbarker -- are you a 30 year old male, that is what your profile states. At any rate, is there any chance that you may not be giving good advice to a 55 year old woman who is menopausal? Is there any chance that your advice may work for you now but will not carry you thru to 55 or 60 years of age. (i do agree about…

You're in a tough, tough situation. Obviously you are happily married but just need a few tweaks to the level of understanding. Make It Medical!!! What does that mean, go to a DR of ostepathic medicine, a bone healthdoctor, and explain your family history---that Mom or Dad needed a knee replacement and how do you defeat…

Thanks - found more info, dear #OP , this should help: "The FatFighters diets Marjorie promotes are generally counterproductive to her group. One diet used by FatFighters is the "Half-the-Calories" diet. This involves cutting food in half, therefore giving it half the calories and because it's half the calories a person…

Are you able to eat only the "veggie" carbs, i've stepped away from "rice", potatoes and pasta but do enjoy and frequently eat the non-processed carbs. Some people replace potatoes with veggies they enjoy , have you tried riced cauliflower? The thing is, it always comes down to choices and you are thinking about what you…

Eating additional veggies isn't necessary but, just from your diary, have to ask if you're drinking enough in terms of liquids? You could try for increasing the amount of water you drink or add additional hot beverages within your macros, the extra liquids could help bump up your weight loss.

@williams969 Have you tried Trader Joe's or Whole Foods in Las Vegas?

To TRUE LcHf ppl "ignore the teasing" :) :D :) To true LcHf woe ppl - ***we choose the healthy fats: olive oil, avocado oil, Kerry Gold, fresh avocado etc.

I'm LcHf but i don't eat the hamburger grease, instead and very enjoyable is to drain that off and pour on OLIVE OIL. ( also salt, pepper, Chochula & ginger/tamarind)

yes, some here are living on ZC, maybe you won't get an answer in the forums--but it is something that is done. Some will go with one month of ZC to lose a lot of weight and then switch to Lc rather than ZC.

Here are quotes from this book, a lot of them sound familiar to those of us using the LcHf woe, thanks @Sabine_Stroehm for posting title/author..link to quotes and also my fave from the page: https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/43611713-the-world-turned-upside-down-the-second-low-carbohydrate-revolution?page=2…

@NVMomKeto You mentioned lactose-free HWC and I've never seen that for sale anywhere, not sure it's even sold here in Florida area. Has anyone been able to purchase lactose-free Heavy Whipping Cream? Also need to mention "coconut" products and/or nut products won't work for me. Dear OP- Homeland Creamery HWC - will be…

I'm interested to read your responses but as for me, if I'm not hungry then I won't "force feed".... those fats (olive oil, Kerry gold butter and heavy cream) lead to a nice level of satiety.

Totally agree with posters above. I've fallen in love with my Apple Watch, it's just the perfect size and fits me unlike other watches I've owned in the past. Apple has released a quality product that is in sync with my use of my IPhone. Because I'm wearing it, I workout more, stand more , try for 10,000 steps a day much…

@ProCoffeenator Interesting "feeling" the weight loss".....I don't and only can tell because I'm wearing my smaller sizes from the closet. The horrible arthritis from changes in the barometric pressure, yes more aches and pains but I'm with you, still going to the gym today.

Am not offering reliable studies and this isn't any scientific proof, but both my DH & i find the Epsom Salt baths to be of great benefit. This isn't to say everyone should go purchase "epsom salts" however @dewd2, many ppl recommend the use of Epsom salts and have done so for years.

@KnitOrMiss Thanks for posting list, just ordered the "decaf mocha java" from Amazon, expecting it to be as good as those hot fudge sundaes I ate in a different life.

My tummy is fine with Equal, Splenda, Stevia and a great new "whole earth" blend ....have food allergies that are severe but guess what, the liquid Dark Chocolate Stevia from "Stevia Select" or from "Now" all are fine in my system. The best part is the choice, can drink diet ginger-ale, sweetener in hot tea, iced tea,…

People, in general, are at their lightest during October, so stay vigilant and focused with so many holidays heading our way. Our family celebrated Rosh Hashanah with it's food challenges and i didn't gain anything.....so we can do this. I'm 5'2 ......or maybe a teeny bit less and have not lost my way since January 2016.…

Holy Necrophilia--this is an old thread. OP, what have you found to do in the area where you're living?
-
@baconslave will get the breakdown and post here, don't have right now @kpk54 You're right about that, my GP isn't at all concerned about the higher#, I don't like knowing it went up but it's certainly not a problem that was mentioned by my Dr.
