  • Great job! and Thank you so much for all your tips! You are right...the scale does lie sometimes. I looked at myself in the mirror this morning and saw noticeable changes in my tummy and arms, but weighed myself and the scale said I had gained 0.2 pounds, but everything feels and looks firmer all around so I'm just happy…
  • I was thinking about getting Ripped in 30, but I just really love the 30 Day Shred and how it only takes 30 minutes of my day. I work full-time and have a daughter so that's all I really have time for. I also love how I can just do it in the comfort of my home. I used to have gym membership, but I didn't even get much out…
  • Wow! What a transformation and inspiration to all of us...Congratulations!
  • Wow, great job! During my first round of 30DS, I loss 9.2 lbs. so I decided to do it for the second time. However, this second time, I have not been as motivated thus have not loss as much and have questioning whether it's doing anything for me this second time around. This thread definitely gives me the reaffirmation and…
  • Definitely, I see differences everywhere -- your face, your arms, your tummy, and your thighs. Keep up the great work!
  • Great job! I'm in my second round of 30DS and alternate sometimes between 6W6P and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. My favorite, however, is still the 30DS thus why I'm repeating it. The first time around, I lost 9.2 lbs. doing the shred 30 days in a row.
  • I haven't even really thought about what kind of shape my body is...so I wasn't even sure what kind of body shape mine would be called. So I read up on it: Determining Your Body Shape http://365voice.com/fitness-friday-knowing-your-body-type/ Before you can perform the right exercises for your body, you need to determine…
  • What a great accomplishment! Love your list!
  • Hi, welcome. Well, I would like to share my story with you. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago, but my symptoms were not severe. At that time, I was severely overweight at my highest weight of 163 lbs. on a 4'11" frame. My husband and I were TTC and were having difficulty due to my irregular periods as a result of…
  • I was diagnosed with PCOS about 3 years ago, but my symptoms were not severe. At that time, I was severely overweight at my highest weight of 163 lbs. on a 4'11" frame. My husband and I were TTC and were having difficulty due to my irregular periods as a result of my tremendous weight gain over the course of 1 year (I had…
  • I have a friend -- who is Asian also -- she is 5'2" and 120 lbs., which is NOT fat...but her mother her keeps calling her fat and telling her that she needs to lose weight so she's always commenting to me about her weight..that she thinks she is "fat". I'm like, c'mon! You are NOT fat. She wears size 5 now, but wants to…
  • Oh, trust me..I NEVER skip meals. I am constantly eating throughout the day, at least every 2-3 hours because I am following a controlled carb meal plan that my nutritionist recommended to me. The coffee is just a kick to start my day, but I eat a balanced breakfast every morning. For example, this morning I had an apple,…
  • I never skip breakfast in the mornings and eat 6 small meals and snacks throughout the day. I don't drink coffee with the desire or intention to suppress my appetite, rather just to stay awake throughout the day...but I'm just afraid drinking coffee has had the opposite effect on me by increasing my appetite...it's good to…
  • I'm watching my carb and fat intake, so I don't add anything besides 1 teaspoon of cold cream, which amounts to only about 1 g carb and probably 15-20 calories extra since coffee does not contain any carb or fat. I don't even put sugar in my coffee because I use flavored cream and it gives me enough flavor that I don't…
  • No, I usually get around 7 - 8 hours of sleep each evening, but I don't know why I still always feel so tired and sluggish...thus the reason why I decided to start drinking coffee. One of the reason why I chose coffee was because I've read a lot on the health benefits of a little bit of coffee daily as well. I may need to…
  • Also being a mother who works full-time with no time to hit the gym, I can understand your situation. Home workout videos -- such as 30 Day Shred -- have been the best for me. I usually just do my workout (only 30 minutes each day) whenever my daughter falls asleep. Also, I just try to walk as much as I can..every…
  • 25NYS goal weight: 110 lbs. Current weight: 151.2 lbs. Pounds lost: 0 lbs. Pounds remaining: 41.2 lbs. I still have a long ways to go, but will definitely be happy if I am down at least 25 lbs. by New Years!
  • Interesting. I used to eat the whole egg -- whites and yolk in all -- but no longer eat the yolk since my doctor recommended I don't due to the high cholesterol in egg yolk. I now eat egg whites almost every day to get my protein at meals when I do not want actual meat.
  • I can definitely relate being Asian and fat -- not only am I overweight (obese actually), but I am a short as well. Short and fat...not a great combination!
  • Wow, our stats are so very similar! I'm 4'11" and at heaviest, I was also exactly 163 lbs! Two years ago, I was able to get down to 138 lbs. just by following a controlled carb meal plan prescribed by my nutritionist, but have since gained back some weight and am now at 151.2 lbs (as of this morning). My ultimate goal…
  • Great job! I see a big difference in your stomach and thighs! I did 30 DS from June to July and lost 9.2 lbs, so I decided to repeat it starting on 7/27...but this 2nd time around has been more difficult for me to commit so I haven't lost much weight, but seeing photos like yours keeps me motivated...thanks!!!
  • Well, after I completed 30DS, I just started all over and am doing the 30DS a second time around. A lot of shredders I know do the same. But if you want to move on for greater variety, I recommend any of Jillian's other workout dvds, including 6 Week 6 Pack or Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I don't have Ripped in 30, but…
  • I'm doing the 30DS, too, but my results are nowhere near yours. Great job and keep it up!
  • Hi, I'm 4'11" and currently 150 lbs. Highest weight ever was at 163 lbs. I know exactly how you feel...being short and obese is not fun. Trying to get down to 110 lbs. Welcome!
  • Wow..you look great! I have similar stats and my goal is to lose 40 pounds, too! I know what you mean about having a hard time finding clothes that fit...I'm about the same height as you and at my highest weight, I was 163 lbs. Now I am down to 150 lbs., but I am still having such a hard time finding clothes that fit…
  • Thanks! Minus the yoga, I've been doing a lot of what you've been doing as well. I guess I have to ramp it up on the water. Thanks again!
  • Great job! I lost 8 pounds last month, too, but my belly has not shrunk as much as yours. What was your routine? What was your rountine? Pls let me know. Thnx!
  • I've lost a human head. Wow, when put in that perspective, it's very motivating!
  • French fries are my greatest weakness...I'm definitely going to try this soon!
