I'm 5'9 and was 204 when I started. I'm now 148 and my goal is 140. If I'm still unhappy there then I'll take it to 135 which is as low as I can go on the BMI scale and still be considered healthy. I still think I look pudgy and awful at 148, so something tells me I will want to go to 135.

During those two weeks just work on your upper body with weights. You can catch up with your legs later. When I sprained my ankle bad I just did the rowing machine for cardio since I didn't have to use my ankles for that.

I'm sorry that that happened! I would have been very hurt too. My stomach is the biggest issue I have and even at 148lbs and 5'9 I can't fix it. I have been considering surgery.

You look amazing! You have the body I have been trying to get for a year and just haven't succeeded at yet. I've lost all the website I needed to lose, but I can't get that flat tummy at all. I guess I need to figure out how to lift weights since all I do is cardio.

How is your HR? Does it jump up 30 beats per minute upon standing? I have dysautonomia and if I exercise standing up I will black out because my HR goes over 200 after a few minutes. I won't eat any nut butters because I think they smell bad, but I do like pumpkin butter, sunbutter, and WOW! Butter. The calories are ridic in WOW! Butter and Sunbutter though. Pumpkin butter is pretty much 0 calories.

Giving up Velveeta Shells & Cheese has been hard for me. And all other noodle. I used to love to eat angel hair pasta with butter and shaker cheese on it. Or chicken broth with Kluski noodles. It's too hard to count calories for those though.

The problem is her, not you. If you guys already had a restaurant chosen and you were both in agreement, then she had no right to choose a different one. Especially one she knew you wouldn't really want to go to. It sounds like she's trying to sabotage your efforts.

A psychiatrist can prescribe medications, but a therapist cannot. You just need to tell him that you'd like a recommendation to a psychiatrist who can prescribe you anxiety medication in concert with your therapy.

Good luck! I wish I could do that, but I would get panicked after a day or two, lol. I usually weigh in at least once every 2 days.

I think sometimes a day outside of your calories is a good day. It's hard to be disciplined constantly and it just makes the process so much more stressful!

I only buy the 100 calorie packs of snacks and I buy things like Skinny Cow if I want ice cream or I'll get popsicles or something that have barely any calories. That way I don't miss out on treats, but I don't sit down and eat an entire sleeve of Oreos like I used to love to do.

I'll have to count for the rest of my life to keep myself accountable or I fear I'll just end up gaining again. It makes me feel pretty stressed out and sad, but I refuse to gain the weight back I've lost.

I think of how much I hate how I look now and how much more I'll hate myself if I eat the doughnut. That always helps me. And the fact that I'm only 8lbs from my goal weight and still unhappy is also helpful for me not to eat anything other than what's inside my calorie intake for the day.

Have you tried something like meditation or yoga or tai chi when you feel stressed out? They might really help you get your stress under control so that you don't want to turn to food anymore for comfort. They are great for anxiety too.

I have dysautonomia and possible CFS and I have been dieting since last November. I lost 45lbs by July and then I started exercising hoping to lose the rest and help myself get more energy. It kind of works for the energy, but not enough.

If it's something contagious then don't go to the gym. If it's not then you can go, but just remember that you're probably not going to be going at full speed because you're so worn down from the illness.
