  • My list consists of: Plums Apples Celery Sticks Carrots Pineapple Melon Clementines Plus we always have a large bowl of salad in the fridge which I pick at as well.
  • When you think about it, that makes sense. If you put your activity level at senditary (sp) then you get lower cals recommended, but then you can exercise to allow you more. I have to say that, in my opinion, if someone is attempting to routinely exercise away their food intake, then yes, they will loose weight, but it is…
  • Here's my channel. http://www.youtube.com/DietandVlogsense So far I have only done weekly updates, but as I progress I want to do more guidance and help related stuff, though I am not a weightloss professional, so this will only be stuff that I have found useful.
  • Seriously use this. It is a god send, but you must ensure you record everything and become somewhat anal about doing so. I've lost 23 lbs in less than a month and I am by no means crash dieting. If you follow the calorie guide and increase you activity levels, then you wilkl do great.
  • I have to agree with the opening post. Already I am getting a little sick of co-workers and friends making comments on what I eat, as if I am commiting some cardinal sin if I have an extra chip or eat a bigger than normal lunch!!! We are all allowed the odd treat and the beauty of the MTP system is that you can accomadate…
  • This can be key, plus maybe a light body salts suppliment and more stretching out. Those, combined, helped me in a similar situation, but mostly it was the water.
  • This is how I think as well. I will, if I know there is a high calorie meal that evening, do extra, but other than that not really. So I guess I will "bank" some calories by doing an extra workout if we are going out for a meal, but even then I still log everything and try and stay below. So, nothing silly like having…
  • I have been on Antidepressants for a long time (Citalopram) and I have blamed them for my inability to loose weight for the longest time. But, you know what, I was fooling myself... I've dropped 18 lbs in my first 3 weeks of MFP, because I finally started watched how much I was putting in and keeping to an amount designed…
  • Well sure, keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better, but anyone dieting on an extremely low calorific intake is just setting themselves up to fail. It's widely known that crash dieting, in the majority of cases, is not going to fail. Bottom line; diet without exercise or excercise without a proper diet is NOT…
  • Exactly!! What people forget is that it isn't just the number of calories, but the quality of the food that those calories are coming from. In terms of volume of food, I am eating far more than I used to, but in terms of calories I am eating about 50% less. I manage 3 - 4 good size meals a day, with a lot of fruit, veg and…
  • IN honestly I would forget the pills and hed for the Vegtable rack. Plenty of high iron foods that are also very low in calories, so great on a diet and they fill you up. Things I tend to go for are: Peas Brussel Sprouts Water Cress Spinach Some potatoes (varies by type) Also, but less Broccoli Couliflower Most of those,…
  • Similar to Chocobis09, I weigh myself most days, but I have Sunday as my "Weigh-in Day" and that's the one that I use for the week. I can see 2-3lbs of movement up and down, just through water weight from having an exceptional session in the gym, or visitng the steam rooms and, as I don't tend to use the Gym on Saturdays,…
  • Good luck. I started on Sunday but only found this site/app yesterday morning. Already can see that this is the tool I have been looking for in ages to help me motivate and track myself. Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm a 100% happily married guy and only here for the weightloss! :o)
