  • Not really a re-starter, more of a re-discpliner! I've been doing it off and on for months and have got just over 1.5 stone to go to my goal, so I am putting myself into a self discipline plan as of yesterday! Good luck everyone!

  • You can eat up to your exercise calorie surplus, but you don't need to or have to. So long as you eat your base calories, you'll lose weight. I tend to eat about half my exercise calories since exercising makes me hungry!

  • Try to add as many complex carbs and protein to your diet as possible. Breakfast could be fruit and yoghurt or low fat cottage cheese.   • Quick look at your diary tells me you're not eating enough iron. Chicken and eggs are all well and good, but you need red meat as well, or other things that have the same enzymes/iron, to give you energy. Start eating more red meat or try an iron tablet. Or spinach or other iron rich foods.
  • Next time, try to say 'I can lose weight. You'll always been an insensitive *kitten*.' and then turn to the girlfriend and say 'you can do so much better. Anyone would be better.' Don't let him get to you.

  • Just joined here and on the MN thread! I have no cake. I do need to get off my bottom and go do some work!
  • If you eat too little your body goes into 'starvation mode' and will hold onto every calorie. If you need to add more, eat better. Lots of veggies and fruits and low fat dairy can add up the calories in a good way.
