I weigh every Monday morning before I leave the bathroom first thing in the morning. I know some people like to see their weight every single day but I'm not one of those people!

I eat Sara Lee Light and Delicious 45 calorie Whole Wheat Bread. The slices are a little thinner than regular bread but you can toast it without it feeling like a piece of a board. The other bread I have eaten in the past is Healthy Life bread but I like the Sara Lee better.

I took 1 - 1000 mg Metformin daily and because I hadn't been watching my eating was just put on another 1000 mg Metformin at night plus 10mg glyburide in the morning. My numbers have gone from the middle 200's to under 100 everyday. Yesterday my numbers were 75 fasting and 90 at 4:30 p.m.

Scooped heavy wet snow out of the driveway and mouth of the driveway --- after 15 minutes I went inside and rested, then went back out for 30 minutes and finished. I was dripping with sweat when I finished and it felt good!

I stopped drinking about 14 years ago. Like you I was finding a problem with what I drank, how much, how often and my actions when I was drinking.
