  • I have seen a couple of times when I was just unable to get below a certain weight. For several days I was the same weight - not up and not down. Eventually, I got past that. Oddly enough it does seem that eating a little more (still below the daily allowance) made me break past that plateau. It still seems odd that…
  • I wondered that. Yesterday I felt fine but was still well under my daily allowance. As people seem to think going too far below the allowance is a bad thing, I was looking around for some snacks I could eat to 'top up' the amount I had eaten and so use up some of those calories. I was thinking that this is crazy - I am…

Also, it tends to be one snack rather than buying a multi-pack of biscuits,…
  • I weigh myself every morning. If I have achieved something it is a great feeling. However, if I have not gone down it doesn't depress me too much. I just try a bit harder that day. Going up is not as much fun, but I don't worry about it. Some days are better than others. I suppose I find it better to know if I am getting…
  • I used to sit at the computer and snack all the time. Chocolate and crisps and sweets. Since February when my Doctor put me on a low fat diet, I have cut those out completely. At first, it was very hard work, but I am starting to find I don't need them any more. As they used to give me indigestion a lot, I actually feel…
