Thanks everyone!! All really great ideas and support. I don't plan on going crazy every weekend, but some weekends it happens w/o me realizing (like this past weekend lol). I think as @rankinsect mentioned, maybe planning out my weekend ahead of time, including the beer and football food, would really help. That's one…

Great job reaching your dream weight!!! That's fantastic. I never really thought to look at my average calories for the week, I've been so focused on the day to day. I might try this and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion :)

I would probably eat a huge salad with lots of veggies that way you fill up on something healthy that is very low cal, or hit the gym and eat a normal dinner ;)

From your profile picture, you are beautiful! I get what you mean though, my husband says the same thing about me and I don't feel it. Definitely log everything you eat here in MFP. My MIL always says, "if you bit it, you write it" and I thought that was a clever little saying. Moving more will help! Take the stairs…

I'm so sorry for your loss, but that's exciting you are pregnant again! Congrats and good luck :) I agree with the others, I wouldn't tell your boss what kind of appointment you have unless you feel comfortable with her to do so. We have never been able to wait until 13-14 weeks to announce, its just such exciting news. I…

Your body can most certainly get burnt out with out dying.... don't need to be rude about it.

I don't think that's jumping the gun at all, she herself said she is eating "well" under her calories. I took that as she's trying to eat so few calories thinking that will make her lose weight, and it won't. Your body needs fuel to function properly, especially if you are trying to work out 5 days a week. Think of a fire,…

Agree with everyone else, if you could please open up your diary so we can try and help. Also, drinking MORE water will actually help release any water retention. I know it sounds counter-intuitive but once your body is getting the water it needs, it will no longer hold on to extra fluids. You will probably be going to the…

haha seriously! relax people, maybe try googling what it is before running your mouths. A. she asked the question to learn more about it and get your opinions and support, not to get snarky rude comments. B. how she diets is HER decision. if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. I personally have not tried this…

I didn't really read all of the other responses, so I apologize if I repeat someone. The 1200 calories noted in diets refers to the minimum they recommend a person eats (when you aren't exercising) to lose up to 2 lbs per week. No matter what your size is, to lose 1 lb your calorie deficit needs to be 3500. Therefore if…
