  • Username: eissacf25 Weigh in week: Jan Week 3 Weigh in day: Wednesday Previous weight: 246.2 Today's weight: 245.8 Not a huge jump this week but that's ok, still went down right? We went to Ruth's Chris for our anniversary dinner, so the food and drinks didn't help on Saturday lol.
  • First step was to cut sugar from my coffee, and now I prefer it that way. Now I've been increasing my water and I bought a flavorless protein powder to add to everything (coffee, shakes, soups, yogurts etc.) and that has really helped me reach my protein goals. I think it's what is helping me this time around!
  • this is seriously amazing, be proud of yourself and keep it up! fantastic job <3
  • Bump :) love the motivation this post gives me!!
  • My favorite has been oikos triple zero greek yogurts - they come in fun flavors and range around 120 calories
  • Username: eissacf25 Weigh in week: Jan Week 2 Weigh in day: Wednesday Previous weight: 248 Today's weight: 246.2 I had a really good week! For the first time in forever, I didn't ruin a diet on a weekend  I usually do a great job during the week and kill it on the weekends but I am dead serious about getting this…
  • Morning ya'll! So glad it finally warmed up to above freezing yesterday lol we might even get into the 60s later this week. Go figure, blizzard one week, 60s the next. Yesterday I did really well with my water and calorie intake! I hit 64 oz, which I haven't done in a really long time. I want to try and hit that again plus…
  • Username: eissacf25 Weigh in week: Jan Week 1 Weigh in day: Wednesday Previous weight: 248.4 Today's weight: 248 I was up to 250.6 over the weekend, so I've been working hard the last few days to get more water in and stay under calories. Hopefully I see a bigger loss next week but I'm happy to see it moving in the right…
  • I like @NationalCapital 's idea of planks, it's a great "all over" exercise, arms/chest/abs/butt etc. You can also do modified planks, if you aren't able to do the full plank yet. Could be a goal to work towards, see if by the end of the week if you can hold the full minute! I love this weeks theme of drinking more water,…
  • Hey team! I'm so excited to start this challenge!! I am a full-time working mommy and spouse. My kids are 3.5 and 5. My husband travels all the time for work and was in the Navy until recently. Since having kids it's been very difficult for me to stick to anything because of how crazy my schedule can get with working, the…

  • I'm starting "over" lol I took a few months off of not caring, or pretending not to care that is, back on the horse this week!! I usually start on Mondays, but I think I'll start on Friday this time around. Before pictures, measurements and I even joined DietBet. Looking to lose about 100 lbs in total, but I'm shooting for…

  • @LadyLilion - in regards to carbs, they are not bad - it's all how much you have, how much sugar make up those carbs and pairing it with protein. Everyone reacts to food differently, and at different times of day. What raises my blood sugar in the morning, doesn't raise it as high in the afternoon. Getting a meter and…
  • I agree with this, I have the same issue. My fastings are usually anywhere from 113-130, yet my last A1C in April was 5.8 - which is the high end of normal / low end of pre-diabetic. Either way, I need to fix it (hopefully by losing weight) but the fasting isn't always a good indicator of your overall blood sugar health.…
  • I didn't think of that - if its the vanilla flavor, you could just use pure vanilla extract. That's natural and made with alcohol and vanilla beans. I used to drink my coffee black, it took a few weeks of weaning everything out of it, but it was doable and I eventually enjoyed it.
  • What is your reason for wanting to switch? I got rid of my sugar in the coffee, but I keep my creamer! I drink my coffee kind of dark, so it's not that many calories and I only have a large cup in the morning. Just make room for it in your calorie goals, if its something you enjoy!
  • You got this!! keep it up :)
  • I gained around 21 lbs for my first one (he was 11 lbs of that weight though haha) I gained 11 lbs for my second one.
  • Titos is yummy - so is Hendricks gin if you're a gin drinker. My husband brought home this amazing rum from Panama - that in my diet coke is a nice alternative too. I've severely reduced my intake - I usually have at least a beer or a glass of wine a night but I've decided to try and not drink at all during the week and…

  • I am not going completely sugar free, but the last two weeks I've cut out sugar from my morning coffee and just drink it with cream. I actually like it so that's a win win haha. Basically, I want to reduce it as much as I can! Won't give up wine though hahah I'll just drink less of it ;)
