4 fried egg whites. Cup of coffee. Boring but it holds me over until snack break at 10.

I find that Greek yogurt keeps me full onger than regular yogurt. So I chose that even though its more expensive.

Until you are able to move around comfortably, looks like youre stuck with just regulating your food intake for now. You can still lose weight.

Zoo. I work around too much animal poop to go barefoot. Nothing worse than monkey sh** between your toes.

I thought this was a nasty dig until I figured out what you meant.:ohwell: OP, I second the previous poster that said don't go. I've never had success trying to go to a gym for just your reasons. I live 2.5 away from work so I just bike there and back, but my profession allows for that. (I work at a zoo so its okay if I'm…

Whats great about MFP is you don't have to "count calories". The site does it for you. If you are really against calorie counting, at least log a few days of food, and you can get a general idea of where you stand calorically. You may find you are taking in more than you think. You can adjust accordingly.

This is funny to me because I work at a zoo...when tigers spray their urine it smells like buttered popcorn. LOL. Just a little trivia for you.

It won't derail anything to go have fun. It will simply slow your progress. As long as you can come to terms with that, its no big deal. Maybe just make a different choice like Coors Light instead of Sam Adams...but hell, I say its not a bad thing to celebrate your birth. If loving beer is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

For a filling snack food I eat popcorn. As long as you don't drench it with butter you can eat tons of it. Use a little "spray butter" , and sprinkle with cajun seasoning...delicious.

Taco Bell isn't a huge calorie load depending on what you order. Its the sodium thats a killer.

The single most positive thread I've read on this site. I love how everyone gets more stylish as they lose weight.

You're more equipt to survive the zombie apocalypse. Michonne is doing just fine.

Whatever goals you set in your profile (i.e. how much weight you want to lose per week), MFP allows you a calorie allowance based on that goal. So, even if you do no exercise, you should lose your weekly goal by eating only that calorie allowance. Extra exercise either gives you more calories to eat that day, or is a bonus…

Is it the impact that hurts your knee or the bending? If its the impact that hurts, maybe biking?

I think the "back away slowly" response is because eggs are notorious for giving people gas... no?

Three legged dog walks into a bar. Says "I'm looking for the man who shot my pa(w)."

I don't have kids, so I would have to agree. Work out through the cry.

Oh, this made me LOL. Thanks for that. But, note that the only reason he knew this is because you shrunk. Good job.

I will echo everyone else. Eat some. The easiest way to fail or fall off the wagon is to deprive yourself.

I realized I forgot to log the olive oil i was using to saute my tilapia...holy crap thats a lot of calories. I think I'm gonna switch to canola oil!

My goal is 1580, and I am usually under with 40 min of cycling. Breakfast 3 fried eggs, only 2 yolks 2 cups of coffee w/ sugar and milk Snack fat free greek yogurt w/fruit on the bottom 1 stick string cheese Lunch Sandwich on whole wheat with: homemade guacamole (avocado, tomato, hot sauce, garlic powder), tomato, spinach,…

I'm willing to bet that perhaps some of it is phsycological...At a bigger size we tend to wear baggier clothes to hide stuff we don't like. Now that you're shrinking, it feels weird to wear things that actually flatter your new physique. In your head you think the clothes are tight when you just aren't used to how…

Great choice of ice cream flavors.

What can I say..I like to get my drink on on my weekends. I keep to my goals five days a week and on the weekends I do what I want (within reason). Definately slows the weight loss, but it keeps me sane and stops me from falling completely off the wagon. Three pounds down in a month isn't too shabby, and I'm still having…

IDK, maybe the difference is maintenance versus weight loss?
