  • It takes me about 40 lbs to lose one clothing size. I am 6' tall though. I was a size 16/18, down nearly 50 lbs and just started getting into 14's. I know from previous weight loss that it will be another 30 before I see a size 12. Beyond that I am not sure what will happen because I have never been smaller than that! :)
  • I'm doing well, down about 4 lbs. We have a fun challenge at the gym that starts Monday called "Hell Week" with super challenging workouts- if we go 6 out of 7 days- we get a t-shirt! LOL The following Monday we have our "final" weigh ins from our 6 week weight loss challenge. I am down 13lbs, but I was hoping for 20. I am…
  • I have never had a job where I could take any time off (let alone paid!) I pissed a lot of people off by having my surgery on a Thursday and coming back to work Monday. It was really, really dumb- but I didn't have another choice unfortunately (aside from skipping or postponing the surgery)
  • Just like you didn't make all your progress in 8 weeks, you aren't going to lose it in 8 weeks either. It sounds like putting it off isn't the best idea- might as well knock it out now so you can move on with your improved quality of life! What about gentle physical activity (light walking, swimming maybe?) It definitely…
  • Hi there! I am down over 90 lbs from my high weight. 1) stretch marks- They are what they are. No they most likely won't go away completely. I am literally covered on my entire torso in stretch marks I have had since I was in elementary school. I have the weird double belly (like my belly folds in at my belly button) and…
  • Hi there :) I was sleeved 2/9/11, so a while ago! I also have regained some but am on the downward again. I started at 330, surgery weight was 308, low weight was 200 on the dot (I am 6' tall) and now I am about 238. I did have a pregnancy in there as well and was 220 when I got pregnant. Currently have a goal of getting…
  • I am 6' and the lowest weight I ever remember seeing on a scale was 180 when I was 12. As an adult, 200 is the lowest. I have been as high as 330, and am currently 240 and dropping. Hoping to hit 200, and then I would like to see 165-175 eventually.
  • I make batches of what my sister calls "guacamole chicken salad". I usually shred a rotisserie chicken, add avocado, diced onion, diced tomato, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice. Eat by itself or on a bed of lettuce.. so good. One batch lasts me for days. I also make ceviche with similar ingredients- shrimp and crabmeat…
  • I am 4 years out! SW was 330, currently ~250 and dropping. The lowest I got was 200 on the dot and that was doing a juice fast when I was about 10 months post op. I got pregnant around 218 and the lowest I have seen since my daughter was born 2.5 years ago was 240. I recently started really working out (steadily going…
  • I am 4 years out (that CANT be right... but it was 2/9/11 so I guess it is. LOL). Always happy to have more friends :)
  • You can add me too... I am 260 now with a goal of 175 (I am 6' tall). I also have a 2 year old little girl
  • Size twin! I am 6' even, started at 275 but at 260 now with a goal of 200 (Ultimate dream goal: 175)
  • I feel you so much! I am 6' tall and have always been big... a size 18 since I was maybe 11? The lowest weight I ever remember seeing on a scale was 180 lbs when I was probably 11 or 12. I definitely feel like this is just how I look. I have had several relationships with bad eaters and ended up around a size 24 (330 lbs)…
  • I have a friend who actually gifted me Isagenix products to "try" for my birthday. It was crushing (who gives diet products as a birthday gift?). After a really long conversation with her, I bought it. I tried it. I hated it. I felt irritable, it tastes awful (even people that sell it tell you how awful some of the items…
  • I have been almost 25 days and lost nothing. I have my calories set at 1200 and have rarely gone over... I originally set it at 1600 but lowered after 10 days of no loss. My kicker is that I am 6' tall and 270 lbs so according to everyone, the weight should be coming off as my deficit is over 1000 calories per day.. it's…
  • We have no kitchen area, just a restroom and the faucet is definitely questionable. I have a pitcher I could bring in, but the faucet is extremely short, I would have to literally fill up a small cup and pour it in the pitcher. In the words of Sweet Brown... Ain't nobody got time for that.
  • Thanks! I will definitely grab a food scale. I just feel like even if I am grossly underestimating the calories in my half banana, I can't possibly be overeating enough to cause no loss the last three weeks. I am extremely afraid to raise my calories... but I could try bumping back to 1,600 for a bit and see what happens.
  • OOPS! I didn't realize my diary was private. I changed it now! Please feel free to check it out and let me know if you see anything I should be changing.
  • Thanks! I just bought the PiYo DVD's to start (had to buy a stupid DVD player... haha. We didn't have one!). I have tried Couch to 5k but never finished it before... I could definitely give it a go again.
  • I don't use a digital food scale (it's on my shopping list!) but I really feel like I am extremely close, and always over estimate if I am unsure.
  • Not very high stress at all. I have a decent amount of pressure on me (real estate) but I have a good handle on it and don't get worked up often. I sleep from about 11pm-7am consistently. Hormonal issues- Not certain. I need to examine further. A few years ago, I was seeing a doctor trying to figure out what was going on…
  • At my weight, I feel like I should be able to see pounds come off on the scale. It's not as though I'm 10 lbs from my goal. My clothes feel the same. I physically feel a bit better, not as foggy in the brain, more energy. That just doesn't feel like enough I guess. Water intake- I drink about 8 16.9oz water bottles per…
  • I feel ya! While I am a girl, we have identical stats. I am 6' tall and 269lbs. I also tend to weigh daily and get annoyed as **** when I I gain! Everyone is right, it will go away! Last week I tried to only weigh myself once. I was SO excited to see a loss, and when I got on the scale after a week I was only down .4 lbs.…
  • I'm 29 with an 18 month old, Feel free to add me! :)
  • I am 3.5 years post op (sleeve Feb 9 2011) . I got my hunger back during and after my pregnancy in 2012/13 (baby born Feb 2013). The key for me is to pay attention to my body and feed it regularly, but I also have to watch the grazing. I have set meal and snacks every day- but keep it to that. I have definitely struggled…
