Hey! It is funny that you posted this because I have the same problem. I have several things that work for me. I try really hard to avoid all chocolate snacks. Once I have one, I always want more (isn't there something they put in those foods that make your body think that or it might be a natural by product) either way, I…

I never have the feeling when laying down. It hurts when I stand or sit up, but relief when I lay down.

You look awesome! Congrats!

Thanks for checking in! It went fine. It wasn't pleasant by any means, but it was bearable. The results were as expected. Fatty liver disease, but with some scarring. Luckily my doctor says it is very early and that it can be reversed with weight loss. It has defintely gotten my butt in gear!

That is tough. I think he should be helping to take care of his child. It seems pretty straightforward to me. They made that child together and he should provide. I know you didn't mention this, but I think his wife deserves to know about his extracurricular activities.

Haha yeah, I realized in my other profile pic that you can see more of my husband than me. I will definitely look into the TDEE method. Thanks for the advice. I guess I just want it to happen fast but I know it is supposed to be slow and steady. I really want to do this right and be able to sustain it. Thanks for the…

No, I am a girl. I was just interested in getting information about general calorie goals for others. I don't think 1,650 is a lot, but it seems like a lot compared to the 1,200 some are eating.

I know what you mean. When I look back at pictures of myself in my early twenties, I think, "Wow, I wish I looked that thin again." Even through I remember at the time thinking I was fat. I am determined that when I lose this weight and I am healthy, I will be happy with my appearance.

Hey, I was diagnosed with fatty liver in April 2012. I didn't take it very seriously and since then, my AST and ALT have shot into the 100's. My GI has given me 2 weeks to get my numbers down or I will have to have a liver biopsy (yikes)! I have gotten serious about my healthy eating and exercise. I have also begun taking…

Unfortunately with PCOS, our hormones are so wonky (very medical term) that the ovulation kits aren't really helpful. I eat 2 hardboiled eggs (made the weekend before), fruit, and a small glass of milk. Juice will cause blood sugar spikes which is not good for people who have or are prone to insulin resistance.

Hey, I was lucky to be diagnosed as a teen instead of when I began TTC (which will be in January). The way I was diagnosed was because I had such weird periods. What you are describing is definitely a symptom of PCOS. What is hard about PCOS is that no two cases are the same, but many women with PCOS experience irregular…

Laura, I am so sorry to hear about your terrible struggles. My husband and I have had to delay trying for a baby due to my weight and attached health issues. While I in no way can understand the terrible grief that comes with your loss, I know how it feels to have the added stress of wanting a child and losing weight. I am…

I had that feeling last week when I went to the OB and she told me that I need to wait three more months before trying to have a baby so that I can lose some weight. I have known for awhile that I needed to do it but I kept thinking, "I've got time." Well I have run out of time and it is time to get busy. We can do this!

Wow! Congrats on the weight loss and hard work. I am just getting started and need the encouragement. Feel free to add me as a friend. Your story is an inspiration to me!
