I love it plain, though only the large curd (plain that is). Or with peaches, blueberries, a spoonful of strawberry jelly, tomatoes with a dash of salt, pineapple jam, blackberry jam (or blackberries with a dash of sugar-cuts down on the acid), apples or applesauce. Basically, I love it with almost anything. ETA: And fresh…

Math for me, thanks. :-)

If I do weights during mine, or abdominal work, I want to stay in bed and/or die the first few days. So, I just walk or use a stationary bicycle. I know it's not a huge calorie burn, but it's better than awful cramps.

They are so cute!

ETA, I couldn't figure out how to make the picture show!

I'm so glad you found something that works for you! Once you've found what works for you, you should definitely stick with it. There are definitely people who need to be around the 1200 mark, and that's great. Everyone is different, and what works for one person won't necessarily work for someone else, and I think there…

Eat some of the exercise calories. Or if you're just reaching for high calorie snacks because they're easy and you're bored (this is what I do), cut up a bunch of veggies and fruits and eat those instead.

Very well said! Everyone does have different caloric needs, and if your doctor put you on a 1100 - 1200 calorie allowance, ignore the rest of us. :-) I was on 1200 calories, and I found that when I worked out too, I was a total grouch, so upping it a little worked for me (and made people around me not want to strangle me).…

Mine too! All the stretching, yoga, etc, just isn't making it happen yet. Joking aside, I'm 5'6.5", and my main goal is 145, super goal is 130. Right now I'm about 185.

Eggs and chicken seem to be the best protein sources for the lowest fat for me. My sister eats a lot of beans, and no eggs or chicken, and that works for her. Beans are more budget friendly, but, alas, I'm allergic.

I've tried it, and it's just not quite the same. I'd rather have it made from milk less often. :-) But that is a valid point!

The problem with avocados is that they are so addicting, and you can eat them with almost anything (veggies, cheese, eggs, sandwiches, meat, chocolate--okay, maybe not chocolate). Honestly, if I cut half of one up on a salad, along with some grilled chicken, that holds me until dinner much better than if I'd used cheese…

This happens to me when I have anything with aspartame. it's headaches and dizziness, even with sugar free gum (aspartame is usually one of the first few ingredients), though I also get it with Splenda and other "fake" sweeteners too. One sibling vomits after having aspartame, for another one it triggers migraines. Maybe…

Well, if you really are under, eat more. But sometimes I come in just a few calories under. If it's less than 10 away from my goal, I ignore it, OR if it's having me eat back all of my exercise calories I ignore it. Now, when I plug in my meal plans and it totals up to only 600 calories, first I do a happy dance, then I…

For me it's beans (break out in hives and lots of vomiting about an hour after eating), and "fake" sugars like splenda, aspartame, equal, etc (really bad head that lasts for hours). I just read labels, and avoid most thing that are sugar free, unless they're in the organic section. Whoever decided sugar free = with splenda…

I used to drink it, maybe 4 or 5 diet sodas a week, and after about six months I noticed every time I drank one, I'd get an awful headache. At this point, I can't even chew sugar free gum without getting an instant headache. There's just something about the alternative no calories sweeteners (sweet and low, equal, splenda,…

For making juice for canning (it's gotta be better than store bought), I love a steam juicer. It works for just about anything you might want to juice.

I personally like the Vitafusion gummy vitamins. It doesn't have iron, so if you need a little extra iron it's not a great choice.

I sent you a friend request. I'm looking to lose about 50 pounds by July 1.

If I work out before work, the only make up I have on is traces of eyeliner from the previous day.

I gain about 5 pounds every single time. I don't get on the scale that week, or it's very discouraging.

My boyfriend is very much like this. He eats lettuce, corn, watermelon, and meat and breads/pasta/white rice/etc. The compromise is that I prepare and eat all the fruits, veggies, and whole grains I want, and he'll just tweak the meal. For example, if we have grilled chicken, he'd have it with some sort of bread, and maybe…

I read a textbook while doing cardio, nothing with the weight machines.

For me personally, I found that most of the "teddy bear" types who would hit on me, or we just didn't "click" in other ways (I'm a math-y/science-y person, which seems to throw guys sometimes). The last "teddy bear" I went out with, asked if I was going to sleep with him after our (first) date. Needless to say, there…

The last time I got one was winter 2003, I got the flu the next day (probably coincidental timing). No shots or the flu for a few years. Then I got the flu again this winter. On the plus side for the week I was existing on a liquid and medicine diet, I lost five pounds.

Hang out or work out with (as friends).

I've got about 50-55 to lose, but I'm 27.
