Yea, some gyms kind of just give you a basic "interview" rather than helping. Are there many gyms in the same price range near by? Maybe consult another one?? I use my smartphone. I load my work out for the week on to it in a spreadsheet and carry that with me.

That's a net of 1000 calories which isn't good. (1800-800=1000) Your body is going into emergency mode and storing energy. You should try to make up for the calories you work off, at least part way. I eat 3000 calories, but I have different inputs between body and work out.

I find a ton of cardio when Im stuffed up clears up the cold, just through expelling it, blowing nose while running. That's just me, if youre having serious issues with breathing don't attempt it.

I have mine entered in excel and then uploaded into my phone for the entire year. Sure you look like a tool looking at your phone every time between reps, but whatever, if it helps you put in work that's what matters. Also, don't forget legs/squats.
