I'm also just getting started, I decided that today would be the beginning of my lifestyle change (no more diets!) I've signed up for another race and this time I want to run the whole thing :)

I am 5'-9", currently hovering around 176 my goal is 145. My boyfriend and I are joining a new gym next week and I plan to get fit with Zumba and Kickboxing classes and yoga at home. I might dabble in P90X too... but we'll see :)

30 pounds is my goal! By October would be great. I've signed up for a 5K on Sept 8th and I just did a 10K on Saturday (that I mostly walked, but at least I finished!) I'm in... it's going to be a lot of work. I joined this site for encouragement and community in reaching my goal!
