You can customize what you track. I have had more success since cutting back on sugar. 1 banana has almost my full day's worth of sugar! I snack on yogurt (more natural the better), string cheese, almonds etc...but I really don't snack too much. I eat mostly protein and veggies but I eat oatmeal and bread too. Honestly, I…

throw them away! remember that water isn't fat so all you are doing is dehydrating yourself which will cause yor body to hold on to water. You are much better flushing the toxins from your body. I drink almost a gallon or non-carbonated, non- caffeinated, no calorie liquids daily. Water regulaes all of your systems so…

Pineapple Chobani or Fage w/ honey Those are the 2 that I buy.

I like hip hop type stuff...Hey baby by Pitbull has me going right now. A couple favs are: Waka Waka song ...Shakira's world cup song. Blow...Kesha Do it like this...Black eyed Peas not really "good music" but good tempo for elliptical.

I HAVE to have salt to keep my blood pressure up...BUT, the sodium you may add from a shaker is no where near the amount in packaged foods. I eat somewhat clean...try not to eat too much packaged stuff which is part of the reason I have to add salt. If you eliminate frozen meals, canned soups etc. you should be OK
-
You might want to get a few things checked or at least monitor them. 1. Hydration---it not only flushes impurities and allows organs to funtion properly but it regulated your BP. 2. Sodium---if you are watching your sodium, you might not be retaining what you are taking in. (in essence flushing too much) 3. Heart…

Feed my machine! If it isn't good fuel, I am eating it for a different reason.

An alternative because you don't like it or because ot os fattening? I use Low-fat Hellmans and it tastes WAY better than light to me but I don't use a lot of condiments so it is just a schmear or in tuna
-
I agree...ditch the full-fat mayo and dressings. Look back and see how many calories and grams of fat are in them. I use low-fat Hellmans. It tastes more like real mayo than light. Good luck!

I do not speak from ersonal experience but my sister lost a bunch of weight (70 lbs) and trained for the Chicago Marathon. During this time she got blood blisters under her toe nails and had to pop them. She also lost her toes nails on a few due to the blisters. I don't know if it is from impact or not but you can google…

Guilty. I have restricted myself from posting weight / workout related stuff on FB. Those are friends/ colleagues etc that probably don't really care if I had a bad weigh day.

very good choice!

The MGD 64 is much better tasting than the Bud 55... apparently it is in those 9 calories. Personally, I am a Bud Light girl OR Vodka/lemonade. When I go out, I am having several and take it as a cheat day. Usually 1-2 per month

I don't remember if it was shopping or Great America---anyway, I documented it as walking---leisurely stroll or something like that.

none of us got fat from 1 piece of pizza...Our habits are what made us so if you have good habits, good things will follow. Just like missing 1 workout isn't going to make us explode. Accept it and move on---at least it wasn't 1 pizza :)

If you have a weak back, it can be as big of a problem. Your muscles have a positive and negative ...quads--hamstrings, biceps--triceps etc. This is why a lot of people with poor posture don't have bad backs, they have weak stomach muscles which aren't supporting their core. When you work on the sit-up, try also laying on…

I take 1 piece of Oat Nut bread (the big wide pan kind), 2 oz of turkey breast and a 100 calorie pack of Wholly guacamole. I usually toast the bread and have that with fruit like red grapes or an apple for lunch at work. It is delish!!! Ironically, the guac packs were seen last night on Biggest Loser---they are really…

Protein is the only thing I go over on...almost every day! Your body needs it for muscle repair so I would not fret...:) We are in the same "weight class"...friend me if you would like
-
sorry...the 1/2 of the panini
-
the tortilla was probably the worst part (really)...fajita size tortillas can be 200+ calories You probably feel this way because we associate eating out with "indulging"...try looking up your food before going out so you get to know what works well for you. For example, we ordered Panera at work today. The turkey…

I grill about 3-4 chicken breasts (depending on how big) with a little Mrs. Dash or cajun seasoning and keep them in the fridge for the week...delicious! You can use them in sanwiches, salads or cut up with a side of fruit or veggies. Opt for the least amount of processing..."extreme lean" beef makes for a nice 170 calorie…

Don't be sad!! Also, keep in mind that if you are drinking more water AND eating anything with salt you will have fluctuations. I weigh every day, not because I am obsessed or think there is going to be a miracle over night, but so I can be aware of what affects me. Soup (all those great lo-cal cans) makes me swell,…

I tend to eat protein after working out in the AM and I don't really pay too much attention to carbs...you DO need them. I work beer and pasta in but not daily...I'd say your trainer is a little over the top. Maybe that practice will get you the quickest results but it isn't really a practical lifestyle change.

Chobani pineapple is the bomb-diggity!!
-
Great job! I applaud just having the B__LLS to post---you look fantastic! It is amazing the difference I notice in my own confidence when I lose a few...we walk straighter etc! Keep it up!!!

I usually have protein after the gym in the am...string cheese, or greek yogurt or a 150 calorie (ish) drink like a light muscle milk or adkins shake then around 10 (at work) I have a packet of oatmeal. It gives me 150-180 calories at 7am and again at 10.
-
I think it depends on what your goals are and what the shake is providing for you. I just picked up Muscle Milk 100 calorie shakes (almost like a juice box) because I go to the gym at 5:30am so when I am done, I have that or a banana or yogurt but I still have a meal around 9:30 of 2-300 calories. Some people use them for…

I am not a "die hard" Whole Foods shopper...I do have a mortgage to pay but I try to go once or twice a month. The guacamole is delicious for a treat or I use it on turkey burgers (it IS sort of spicy), macadamia/coconut crusted mahi mahi and most of the salads in the deli. Crab cakes are very good as well. I try to get…

I try not to eat packaged foods. I eat yogurt and string cheese etc but I rrarely go over on carbs, usually it is the protein

I completely agree---I weigh myself everyday not because I am freaking out but to gauge what affects my progress. SOUP---uh-oh, frozen meals---eek!! it lets me know my range.
