You. Are. AWESOME. Your pic made me laugh like a moron, only because I have also had that thought. Friend request sent.

Welcome! There are some awesome people on here, and I know that I have found this site and the phone app tremendously helpful in helping me to realize exactly what I'm eating, and more importantly, HOW MUCH. Anyone who likes wine and chocolate is okay in my book! Friend request sent.

Oh man, do I understand where you're coming from. Almost all of my bras are now at the stage where there is too much space between the cup and my actual boob. I don't care for them to be wobbling around inside of the cups all day! Hopefully, my waist and hips will get the newsflash that the fat is leaving and relinquish…

MIne is open, and you are welcome to peruse it. I try to keep it more on the clean side (though I have not cut out ALL processed foods), and I have been much better over the last 3 to 4 weeks about cooking dinner. I do go out to eat sometimes, especially weekends, but I'm trying really hard to cook more. I like cooking,…

It was so nice of your neighbor to let you know that they noticed all of your hard work paying off!!! And congratulations on your loss, I bet it feels even better now!

Man, I hope I end up looking as fit as you, and I'm 29! Awesome, AMAZING, inspirational, and you seem so sweet! You deserve this!

Thanks everyone! I was just so pumped, I had to share!

If I were making it, I wold try toasting the spices (any seeds, pepper, etc.) and roasting the veggies (except maybe the spinach) before adding to the soup. And if you're using corn on a cob, add the cob to the stock and remove before serving. You'll get a much stronger corn flavor that way.

Look up Arbonne for skincare, cosmetics, supplements, and spa items. They are all botanically based, animal-free, no animal testing, and the products are amazing (and formulated in Switzerland and made in America). I started using them at the end of June, and I see a world of difference with my skin. They have shampoo,…

This. Though I do not claim to be a nutritional guru in the least.

Depends on the vitamin. Vitamin C is water soluble, so once you've reached your limit, your body disposes of the extra through your urine. But Vitamin D is fat soluble, meaning that it is kept in the fat stores, and overdoing it is not good because there is no good way for your body to get rid of extra. I would say if…

I have read (I think in Prevention?) that foods that are high in monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) somehow help you lose belly fat. Based on my understanding of the article, the MUFAs are particularly adept at helping to get ride of abdominal fat (the kind that surrounds the internal organs and is really BAD). Not sure how…

Bump. Want to be able to come back and read all of these!

I LOVE the skincare line that I started using about a month ago. The company is called Arbonne, and the particular product I'm using is the Purifying Cleanser and Toner. It is not cheap, but it works amazingly and a very small amount goes a long way, so one tube of facial cleanser can last you 3 or 4 months. The whole line…

Okay, this makes me feel a bit better. I was seriously wondering how to eat less protein. It's in lots of stuff! Thanks for taking a minute to look at it!

I've been trying to drink a lot of water. I've done pretty well. I have a hard time at work because I can't keep it cold, and who likes to drink lukewarm water? But thank you for the reminder. We've got this!

Thank you for the info. I know I should have thought about that, but I didn't. I don't know if it is affecting my loss, but I will keep an eye on it and see if a pattern develops.

Truer words were never spoken.... Thanks for the add!

Trust me, I know that feeling! Luckily, I don't have to undress in 'public' (my apartment complex has a fitness room with some weight machines, treadmills, and ellipticals, so I shower after I walk back home). Thanks for the inspiring words!

Thanks. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one not seeing a lot of results in a short amount of time. And I agree. I have been logging pretty much everything I eat, down to the olive oil I'm sauteeing my veggies in or grilling with!

I hear you. I decided over the weekend that I will only do weigh-ins once a week, and I decided to make it on Mondays. Well, I went on the scale and had a higher number than the 2 days before. It was frustrating because I have tried to be really honest when logging my my food and exercise, and I know that I have done more…

I've worn prescription orthotics for years, and I can't imagine not having them. Mine were originally casted because I had more flat feet, but keep in mind that you will probably need to replace them every few years. I am actually overdue, but moved away from my old podiatrist. There is nothing like a custom fit orthotic.…

Grilled or roasted asparagus. A drizzle of EVOO, a pinch of salt and pepper, and either grill using a grill pan or a basket for your outdoor grill. If roasting, put it on a jelly roll pan (cookie sheet with sides), mush it all together to coat evenly, and put in a 415 oven for between 5 and 10 minutes, based on how…

Bump. :)

Added! I am by no means an expert, but I am trying to eat less processed foods and enjoy incorporating fruits and vegetables into my meals. I forgot to say, I think you will find that MANY people here (myself included) seem to favor Greek style yogurt as a way to get a good amount of protein.

Mine is similar. You are welcome to friend me (my diary is open to friends) and see how I am spreading out my calories across the day. As for snacks, I have been eating a lot of seedless cucumber, baby peeled carrots, and celery. I also keep an ounce of raw, unsalted almonds with me when I'm at work in case I am really…

I had this EXACT thought this morning! I'm so glad somebody else asked!

I am glad to see this is not just me. I find that if I happen to know the brand of the item, it helps in finding it in the database. For example, when I was looking for tilapia, instead of just putting in 'tilapia', I searched for the particular brand that I was using (Treasures of the Sea) and found it much easier to…

Hello! I'm 29 and my current goal is to lose 75 lbs. After that, we'll see what I feel like! Feel free to add me and keep me accountable! My diary is open for my friends to see.

Wow, nobody? Sad panda. :(
