I find the band around the bar really helps, at first I thought the band would be doing all the work. No so you can really feel it in your arms.

I started on Monday July 29th. The second day I was really sore and wasn't sure I could do the whole thing. Last night not as sore except for my arms, elbow area I had to put the weights down and do it without weights. I am using 10 pound weights I know that is high but it was all I had. I drink one 20oz coke zero or diet coke a day, it is my caffaine as I don't drink coffee. I stopped drinking soda all together for about 9 months. Have recently started up again. I would love to give it up

This challenge sounds like fun I am currently 160 pounds so I will need to loose 6.4 pounds by the end of July. Seems a litle high but I am willing to give it a try

you need to look at it not like a diet but a lifestyle change. Sometimes you will have bad days. Plan you meals ahead of time and make sure you have fruit and veggies in the house for when you want a snack

actually my periods are better when I work out and eat right.
