  • that brings up another question--I would assume that all water bottles that are meant to be refilled would be safe to refill and refill and refill. Does anyone know that cheap water bottles (such as those sold at Walmart) are safe to refill and refill even though they may not say that they are polycarbonate free. I guess…
  • I love to drink water at home (from the faucet) and have been refilling the same water bottle. I have read a little bit about how chemicals can go from the bottle into the water and this is not good for you. Does anyone know of a safe water bottle (that can be refilled)? I'm sure someone sells them, but I'm just not sure…
  • I love Golden girls and Estelle Getty. I too was saddened by this news:sad:
  • Do you know where you can get it and how much it costs?
  • I tried Palmer's. With my first pregnancy, we put it on my belly every night except for 2 and still got stretch marks. I was wondering if anyone had tried something and it actually worked. Thanks for your help, though.
  • I was just reading about this in Fitness and it said that there is really no way to get rid of it, but exercise can help to make it less noticible and keep it from getting worse. HTH

  • Hi, I have lost about 8 lbs now and my stretch marks seem to be even worse looking. They seem more noticible. Does anyone know of any lotion or anything else that really works to help stretch marks fade and be less noticible? I am getting happy with my weight and now I am unhappy with my stretch marks--if it isn't one…
  • thanks for all of your responses. I knew there was more reasons for drinking water. You guys should be proud-- I just drank 16.9 oz!!
  • I too have noticed that the quality of products has gone down. I'm a complainer though, I will call the company and tell them exactly what is wrong and that I am not satisfied. More often than not they will refund you your money and give you coupons toward future purchases. It takes a little bit of time, but at least you…
  • Hi, I'm wondering exactly why we should drink 8 glasses of water a day. I have read over and over that you should drink plenty of water when trying to lose weight, but why is this? Is it just because it flushes out toxins? If someone is in the know, could you please enlighten me? I know when I drink a lot of water, I feel…
  • I actually was just thinking this same thing last night. I would say mabe up your heart rate a bit and see if that makes a difference. Just make sure to stay within your target heart rate zone.
  • Thanks. I'm still looking to find one that I like and that is not too expensive.
  • Also at the HRM that I have been looking at have preset weight, height, etc. Are there monitors that allow you to set your own weight, height, etc?
  • I was wondering the same thing. Also what should we look for when buying a HRM? What features and specifications? Thanks, Melissa
  • I would start taking a prenatal vitamin to get your body ready for a baby
  • I was just wondering if anyone is doing or has done the "Best Body workout" from the June 2008 issue of Fitness magazine. It is a combination of cardio and different stretches and moves (for lack of better words). I was just wondering if any of you have done it and have seen results. I have been doing it for 2 weeks now…
  • Hi, I joined this website last fall, but fell off the wagon and just got back on. I would like to lose 15-20lbs. I have three young children and weigh the same as I did before kids, but my body looks different-a little flabbier and not as toned. I just want to feel good about myself and be able to look good in fitted…
  • Hi, I'm fairly new and I am going to try to lose a few pounds by just eating what I would regularly eat but just cut way down on portion size. Also I am increasing my daily activity (exercise). Has anyone does this and has it worked? I am not one to eat all organic foods and totally cut out sugar or anything. I have 3…
  • That sounds good to me--I won't argue with eating more. So can I expect my weight to temporarily increase with my increased caloric intake? I hope not.
  • So your daily caloric intake (in my case 1200) is what is listed and you eat that plus whatever calories you burn while exercising? Sorry, I just want to make sure that I am consuming enough. Thanks again, girls.
  • Ok, So even if I exercise I eat all of my calories? I thought it was weird that when you exercised it added those calories to you daily intake. I was wondering how you were supposed to lose weight if you didn't have calories left over. Thanks, Melissa. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Melissa
  • Hi, I'm kinda new to this and I have a question. I know there have been posts like this before, but I'm not sure I understand. I eat 1200 calories a day (that is my goal) and I usually exercise off around 500 calories. At the end of the day I usually have 500 calories left. Is this the 500 calories that I should have left…
  • I weigh 136 as of now. From now on, I will start weighing in a Wednesdays. Good Luck to all!
  • I started watching this season of the Biggest Loser and I too would like to weigh in with you guys. I want to lose 10-15 lbs. I know that that is not a lot, but it seems like those of us who only have a little to lose, seem to lose it slower and with a lot of effort. So we are going to weigh in and post on Wednesdays? Is…
