That it. thanks pmkelly. Do you have any "healthy" toppings for it? I was thinking fat free cool whip. Any other suggestions? thanks so much.

thanks, that isn't the one that I had previously seen, but this one sounds even better! Thanks again.

I saw a post a few days ago that said how to make a chocolate cake with yogurt and something else. Does anyone have recipe or know where it is? I really want to make it but I can't find it. thanks.

I was on the treadmill bright and early at 5am this morning. I walked for 10 min and then ran for 55 and then walked for 10 more to cool down. I have a question for you guys, well actually ladies, if any of you run on the treadmill what do you do to mix it up and keep it fun? I live in northern Wisconsin and the winters…

I went to a meeting at my daughter's preschool last night and they served a snack--two kinds of homemade cookies, hawaiian punch and milk. The milk is alright, but who wants to just drink a glass of milk. I just used one of the cups and filled it with water at the fountain. Yeah me!

Have fun on your vacation, Slender1! I am kinda back after pulling a muscle or something in my lower butt/upper thigh. I was just out running one night and I felt a litle tightness in that area. By the time I got home, I could barely walk. I'm not sure what exactly I pulled but it didn't allow me to run for more than 2…

Sweet soy chips sound delicious (especially caramel)--where do you buy these?

K.Ann--Do you know what the box looks like or what the brand is? I looked and can't seem to find it. I'll have to look really well tonight.

Not together though... I am looking to buy some granola that I can mix in with yogurt. I usually shop at Aldi's or Wal*Mart and I can't seem to find any at either place. Where can I buy some granola like the kind that comes with a yogurt parfait at McDonald's? I am also looking to start incorporating more fish into…

an apple sliced with Splenda and cinnamon and microwaved for until soft. Tastes just like apple pie. I'm in love!

If you want some crunch (like apple crisp), you could even add some granola or a tsp or two of crunchy nutty cereal like cheerios.

I found a snack/treat to make that is low in calories and tastes delicious. I peeled and cut up an apple and then sprinked Splenda and Cinnamon on it and microwaved it a little. Mmmm! Tastes like apple pie without the crust--which is fine by me because I don't like the crust anyway!

2 scrambled eggs with ham, green peppers and onions with 2 pieces of wheat toast 471 calories

Yes the watch is what is water resistant to 30m. The chest strap is splash proof. Lauren1981- I read in your other post that you were disappointed because you only burned 140-some calories in your workout. I had walked on the treadmill and only burned 146 calories. Come to find out--I was looking at the wrong number. I did…

Mine is water resistant to 30m--Is is still safe to quick run it under water and then shake it off?

I assume that the electrodes are only on the thicker plastic part that goes in the front, right? ETA: I got it wet but not really wet. I'll try getting it wetter.

That is all I can do too. I thought it was just me. I'm glad someone else is having troubles too. Does it consistently pick up your HR? I used my for the first time this morning and it would pick up my HR intermittingly (sp?)--going from 50 to 120 in a just a few secs. Also it never got into my target heart rate…

I thought that it probably went below, but I was not sure. Thanks for your responses! :flowerforyou:

Do any of you have one of these? I have a couple of questions about using it. Also, where do you place a HRM-above or below your boobs? The manual says to place it over your heart--I'm not wure where to wear it. Any help?

I need to find an alternative to flour tortillas. The ones that I have been using are 120 calories, 21 carbs, 3 fat and 320 sodium and only 2 g fiber. We eat tortillas quite often and I was wondering if there is an alternative out there. I usually grocery shop and walmart and aldi's, so if there is something out there that…

at Walgreens. It holds 25 oz and was $3.99 for one or 3/$10. It is similiar to the Kleen Kanteen (sp?) except way cheaper. Just thought I would let you know...

measuring cups..to help me control portions.. I have never used them this much before!

Thanks for all of you replies. Once a week is what I was thinking too. I have kept my weight at 125 for a week so I guess I will log it as a loss. Another question then...How often do you weigh yourself? I personally weigh in every morning. I feel like it keeps me on track and motivates me.

Isn't that a great feeling? Keep it up!:flowerforyou:

I really haven't seen a difference. We no longer buy unhealthy shacks like chips and cookies and premade meal items (or at least very rarely) and those are often expensive. (For example chips can be almost $4 for a big bag while right now a cantelope costs $1.29.) Also it depends on what exactly you buy for health food. We…

maintain a weight before logging it in? what I mean is how long do you wait to make sure that you have actually lost the weight before recording it? I do not want to jump the gun and record a weight only to gain it back again. I just wanted to see what others did. Thanks:flowerforyou:

Wow you guys are up bright and early... Again I had to walk because of my sore muscle. I got on the treadmill and did 80 min at a brisk pace. and an incline of 4.0 That brings up a quiestion that I have. The treadmill said that I burned 892 calories and when I enterd my walk on MFP it said that I only burned 361 calories.…

I started out running, but the muscle or tendon that was hurting yesterday was still hurting so I ended up briskly walking 3.4 miles. I hate not being able to run, but I don't want to injure myself further. So for now I guess it will have to be the MFP Walker's Club for me!
