  • I like slicing them, freezing them flat on a cookie sheet, then melting down some bittersweet chocolate then dipping them in them and refreezing. Probably not the healthiest thing to do with them, but they knock out a sweet craving with less calories than a lot of other things with just a couple of bites. I take out two or…
  • My favorite so far: 1/4 cup vanilla rice milk 1/2 cup light strawberry yogurt 1 tsp golden flax seeds 1 Tbsp cooked oats 1/4 of a cooked pear (I generally crockpot them overnight and toss them in the fridge for whenever) 3 icecubes
  • I'm in the same boat, I'm already seeing some positive changes with my PCOS. The work is worth it. :)
  • I usually eat about 5 or 10 minutes after I'm awake enough to get out of bed. That's mostly due to the fact that I know if I don't do it first, I'll run out of time and won't eat at all.
  • I want to eat the same as I do now. I don't feel hungry or deprived, I just live and all those foods that used to appeal to me aren't that great anymore.
  • Hmm, why not? Can't hurt. Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: 808 (stationary bike 35 mins, strength training 20 mins, walking 2.5 miles) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur: calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned) Sat: calories burned…
  • 1. I strength train more than my husband 2. I control all the finances and bills. 3. I make the decisions and carry them out. 4. I do the yardwork. 5. Boxers are the best underwear... ever. 6. Jeans and t-shirts are the only way to live day to day. 7. I tell crude jokes daily. 8. I play D&D almost daily.
  • Stevia with chopped dates or figs, sometimes few chopped almonds or pecans. Then, whatever mix of various spices I feel like that morning, usually a good pinch of mace and nutmeg.
  • I can't remember a time when I was a "normal" weight. My father tried to keep the women in his life overweight so that they'd never have confidence enough to leave him. That meant that all his "love" came in the form of ice creams and candy bars. Of course, I didn't really realize that until about a couple months ago when…
  • Great post, learning to get right back on when I fell off has been the hardest part for me. Great job on 51 lbs too, I really hope that I can get near that point in 200 days.
  • You can do it! I have 110 to lose myself and I never thought I'd actually ever make it to 10, but it's still coming off.
  • Flourless chocolate cookies. I cut the sugar in half and add a small bar of spicy chili chocolate and it comes out to be only about 87 calories a cookie (which is great because it's really hard to eat less than two). Other than that, I am practically addicted to smoothies made with a random cup of yogurt and a frozen…
  • You look amazing... that's my goal for loss, so I just kind of sat there and stared for a bit, excited that one day I can be there.
  • When it gets near unbearable, mini chocolate bars that end up being about 150 calories for a handful are my friend. Also, hot teas seem to help with the snacking binges and pain. I don't let myself slack off of working out either, I just usually make it more of strength training days rather than walking or cycling.
  • I love good food, but good food was slowly going to kill me. The more I began to exercise, the more I could eat, but the less hungry I felt. It's be a good cycle so far. Of course, the fact that my pants suddenly fit better and I can lift way more than I used to are always pluses.
  • I've been on a pop for... almost a year now I think. I didn't notice any gain, in fact I lost a bit when I switched from estrogen to pop.
  • That's awesome, I wish I could do something like that. Well, I'm sure I could, but I have a tiny hole in my heart that only leaks blood with things like running for more than a few minutes. One day... just need to work up to it.
  • That does suck, I have almonds and pecans on a daily basis. Up until I was about 20 I couldn't eat more than a single square of chocolate without getting a brain-crushing headache. I'm so glad I ended up growing out of that...
  • I work online, so a stationary peddler that fits under my desk is what I tend to go with most. When I get into work it's easy to forget what I'm doing and go for an hour or more. Mine adjusts for low and high resistance, so when I feel particularly motivated I just turn it up all the way. When it's not hot as all get out…
  • I pretty much get it in everyday, I usually make all of my meals. This week that hasn't been perfectly true since my husband's been on a fast food spree, but I still try to record everything.
  • The change in just your facial structure is amazing. You looked pretty before, but you look younger now. I can't wait until that happens to me.
  • That may happen in the beginning, but I wouldn't count on it staying that way. Your weight loss slows down with exercise, especially weight training, because muscle is more dense then fat. It's often more accurate to track your progress with your body measurements due to the fact that you may end up losing 3 pounds of fat…
  • I would say that it sounds a bit excessive, but I just realized that on a good week I average around 7,500-9,000 cals a week. As long as you're careful with the exercise you could probably do it if you wanted to push yourself. I'd say 10,000 is starting to get a bit on the high side though, you don't want to end up getting…
  • It's set at 2280, but I usually exercise around 800-1,000 cals, leaving me around 1200 net.
