I'm using Strava on my GS3 and (YMMV) after a 4 hour ride using it and music, battery was down to about 50%. This was with pretty much everything on as well...going to try paring it way back to see how long I get. Plus, that's why I got the GS3 - replaceable battery so if I get to taking looonngg rides can carry a spare.

Shooting for 350 miles this month. Hoping to get the MTB out and spruced up to hit the trails, plus some training for a local ride/race in June on top the normal daily commutes. Should hit it just fine. Stretch goal will be to beat April's total of 402... As of this morning am at 43.3 miles.

Time in the saddle. Doing spinning and riding a multi-day bike tour are very different beasts. With spinning you're doing high output for a short amount of time. ^^^pretty much this. Take enough time to acclimate before really pushing yourself. Last year I went from sea level to 6,400ft and could barely ride my bike around the block, now I'm doing 400miles a month, but it took a good month or so to really get to feeling better.
