With my daughter we ended up pitching most of it unfortunately. I felt bad but there was only so much I could give her in a sippy and because she never took bottles I ended up with such a huge freezer stash...I had looked into donating and connected with a few people but nothing worked out. I had a freezer full of just…

Peeking in from the Oct board to say - welcome to November ladies - how exciting!

Just bumping this up. My son is a month old and my freezer full of meals has been such a blessing. I used ziplock baggies to freeze stews and tin pans from the dollar store to store casseroles and lasagna. I may cook like this regularly in the future - it's so nice to have healthy wholesome meals that I don't have to work…

One meal isn't going to destroy you or you would never have bounced back to where you are. And tbh I have heard of wayyyy worse meals...like...entire pizzas plus a 2L and breadsticks plus dessert :P

Pre-pregnancy weight: 156 Weight at 39 weeks: 178 4 days post partum (would have been 40w!) 164 1 week post partum 161 2 weeks post partum 157 3 weeks post partum 156 4 weeks post partum 156 Well looks like I picked a good maintenance number. I'm eager to get back on track losing weight..

My goal weight is 130, so I've got a ways to go yet! I didn't expect to be back at pre-preg yet, I'm not really sure how that happened actually. I'm definitely not trying to lose weight, and I don't get cleared to try or to exercise until my 6 week follow up. The weight is nice but what bugs me is how squishy my belly…

My husband gave me a small heart pendant with our first's birthstone and a small pair of birthstone earrings...nothing expensive or extravagant. Yeah, you "gave" her the kid...but let's be brutally honest...her role in this is going to be a lot harder and more painful than yours. Giving her a small token to celebrate the…

Pre-pregnancy weight: 156 Weight at 39 weeks: 178 4 days post partum (would have been 40w!) 164 1 week post partum 161 2 week post partum 157 3 week post partum 156 Well that's that. I meant to weigh in yesterday but my husband and daughter have been sick so I've had a baby, sick 5 year old, and sick husband to take care…

Mobies are good for tiny newborns - they are outgrown by 15lbs though. Ring slings and mei tais are also good, as are ergos. Generally bjorns can put bad pressure on the spine because of the narrow seat so wider seated carriers like the ones above will avoid that problem. The suffocation issues are usually the bag slings…

Pre-pregnancy weight: 156 Weight at 39 weeks: 178 4 days post partum (would have been 40w!) 164 1 week post partum 161 2 week post partum 157 Only 1 pound til pre-preg...that's so weird!

Definitely call your insurance because what they cover is up to them. They have to cover a pump but what pump they cover and how they cover it - rental v purchase - is up to them. My insurance covered a double electric but I had to go through a specific company - if I had bought my own even from this company I would not…

I thought I'd add a little note here - I am moving to the post partum group, but wanted to say to everyone who is stressing over how much you've gained - I did too. A lot. I gained 22lbs and it came in spurts and waves; I had multiple weeks - in a row at times! - where I gained 2lbs that week and I hated it. I never…

Pre-pregnancy weight: 156 Weight at 39 weeks: 178 4 days post partum (would have been 40w!) 164 1 week post partum 161 Only 5lbs above pre-preg - that feels surreal. I stressed so so badly about gaining, wanted to gain no more than 20 (gained 22)...pouted when I had 2lb gains in certain weeks...and I only have 5lbs left?…

You look fantastic!

Pre-pregnancy weight: 156 Weight at 39 weeks: 178 4 days post partum (would have been 40w!) 164 8lbs to go to pre-pregnancy - I'll track here how I do but I'm not cleared to try to lose weight per se yet, doctor's explicit instructions. But I am breastfeeding and I eat healthy, and I do have a feeling there's more water…

Well. wasn't able to sleep becayse the baby wanted to nurse - got him to sleep and voila, I'm awake! So I weighed in. Haha. It's not a normal fasting weight and I sort of wasn't even going to count it, but... Week 40 - due date/4 days post partum - 164, +8lbs So that's not bad, I lost 14 of the 22 I gained. I am hoping a…

I love that, that's gorgeous!

I count my weight gain from the day I found out I was pregnant. My ticker goes back to when I started MFP so includes the 22lbs I gained back.
-
I know! I looked at that and I was like...that means I'm in for a LOT of gain coming up lol. I'm not complaining - 20-25 was my goal and it looks like I should be riiiiight in there, as much as I'd really initially hoped for 20. I'm so close that quibbling over a few lbs right now seems petty, and I know if I go over it's…

All you can do is eat right and stay active. If you're doing that, absent starving yourself, what is going to stop your body from gaining what it wants to? I know it's super frustrating and if you go back through my posts I throw up my hands sometimes and just go...what the HECK?! But everyone gains different amounts at…

My first pregnancy I gained rapidly once my nausea went away (granted mine was at 36w, but yeah). My midwife and I figured it was a combo of water weight being restored (plus maybe a little extra than normal? I can't remember how well I ate then but it was definitely not as well as now!), food being back in my system…

I like Rosalyn too =) Ohhh Jaylas_mom, making a chancge so late in the game would drive me crazy! You're much more flexible than I am, lol! (But then again I'm the freak who had my daughter's names - for boy or girl - picked when I was 6 weeks pregnant...)

Enediyne we are almost there! I have to admit I have pretty much everything washed and folded away...I went into nesting mode :) Jchepulis - apparently it was ER week for us :( My daughter just got her stitches out. It was very scary since head injuries bleed so much. How is your little guy going? I'll keep my fingers…

That's a long fasting interval, it's possible your liver kicked in to up the glucose in your blood stream if you were crashing. A one time high reading isn't cause for panic - the GD boards on babycenter talk a lot about finding your perfect fasting interval and perfect bed time snack to keep blood sugar stable. If you saw…

Are you GD? How long had it been since you ate?

I know this feeling! My first OB's scale was the same as mine but when I switched OBs I got scale-shock because there's was 6lbs higher, lol! Eep!
