  • Lent starts tomorrow so it's a last day of indulgence for people who are giving things up.
  • I've not been here in awhile. I had some health issues, dropped off the keto plan, and gained a lot of weight. I've gotten way too accustomed to overeating and under-moving! As of today I'm back to low carb but don't intend to go to keto levels at this time. I'm going somewhat easy on my goals as I've recently had surgery…
  • I'm not keto anymore but I have used Sports Research chocolate collagen peptides for years including the years I was keto. I use it because I take methotrexate for RA and I think the collagen supplement seems to counteract some of the hair loss that is a side effect of that. I know of no science proving it just my…

  • I've had a ton of "family stress" which has honestly been ongoing for quite awhile but did not slow down for January...combined with being my birthday month I went a little too far on the treat yourself attitude. I've been working hard lately not to be so all or nothing and just trying to embrace baby steps in the right…

  • Okay I think I will kind of do a week by week thing. This week my goals are: 1. Eat more veggies and fruit. 2. Do a light workout 3 times this week. 3. Take apple cider vinegar daily. 4. Cut back on portion sizes.
  • I definitely need the accountability of these challenges. I am thinking of my goals and will report back when I've lined them out! :)
  • @canadjineh yep...I have Rheumatoid arthritis as well as celiac. @herblovinmom don't feel bad about your slip up! It's natural to want to be sure it's a problem! Also it's natural to hope that it is not a problem! In a way it's kind of good that you tested it and got it out of the way because now you know for sure what…
  • By the time I figured out I was celiac I had multiple vitamin deficiencies which resulted in my being sick constantly. I would break out with shingles over and over, repeated bouts of strep, UTIs, ear infections, mono, the flu....it was awful. In addition my hormone levels got so out of whack I was having full on periods…
  • Are you supplementing electrolytes? Starting keto can cause an imbalance which leaves you fatigued and fluish.
  • @dawnz75 I made some of these bites a few years back and they are really good. @ploomka I have made the Fathead pizza crust a lot. My husband likes it better than most of the gluten free crusts we've tried....even the carby ones. @lalabank I eat the Two Good yogurts a lot and like them!
  • Ninja Foodi. I've used it daily for over a year now. Pressure cooker, air fryer, dehydrator, baking/roasting, broiling, steaming, and saute all in one!
  • Death Wish Coffee is really good, so smooth.
  • Sorry I was absent at the last of the month. I got the plague so it’s all tissues and coughing over here. I didn’t stick to my carb goals. I did lose a bit of weight so that was nice. Onto the new year.
  • Doing so so these last few days. The 23rd my husband took me to one of my favorite restaurants so I went well over carbs. Yesterday wasn’t bad and today I stayed under my top end by a smidge. Activity has been mainly hauling babies around. One of the twins had a bad cold these past three days. I also did a good bit of…
