If you know you should leave, then you will never be happy, sorry, but there it is. If he'll make you feel horrible for being the weight you are, he'll make you feel horrible about something else once you've lost it. I've seen this kind of *kitten* before. But if you are insistent on staying with him, then get yourself a…

Of course, I think everyone does at some point, even if you're doing everything right. Funnily enough since I started Insanity (absolutely loving it - doing it 3 times a week) the scale isn't going down. Not sure why.

Amazing. What a complete inspiration.

You look great, stick at it and the plateau will go!

Me too! It helps keep me motivated too and you can never have enough motivation.

Other than obvious making better food choices and exercising, I follow these rules: 1) Am I actually hungry or do I just want the food? No, then don't eat it. 2) Is my hunger due to being thirsty? Have a glass of water of herbal tea and see how you feel. 3) My dinner should be able to fit easily onto a small plate. 4) When…

Amazing. Cherish this moment and use it for inspiration always. I hope you are being truthful about 1200.

This is beginning to happen to me now. Always had really thick hair so I naturally shed a bit anyway, but the last 2 weeks or so my hair is coming out in handfuls when I brush. I always try and eat my goals and I haven't been particualrly low in anything. I always try to keep my iron and protein up. I'm not sure if this…

I have always used freeweights, so I'm a bit confused as to why it is so prominent.
-
Thanks for the advice, it's mainly really noticeable on my arms. So basically it'll even up the more weights I lift?

Don't buy that excuse at all. Veggies and salad is a hell of a lot cheaper than convenience food around here at least. It's all about getting your priorities right and making cutbacks on things you don't need. Your health is more important than Sky TV or IPods etc. If you're too poor to buy healthy food, you're probably…

I normally have either those or porridge for breakfast. I cannot eat as soon as I get up so I take a pack to work and eat them there. They are still not the best option for breakfast, but they are often far lower in salt and sugar than a lot of breakfast cereal and they keep me full till lunch.

I am 5ft4. I started off at 161lbs and my goal is approx.135lbs. i am petite with a curvy frame, so I'm never ever going to be less than 130lbs I don't think. When I was at my fittest (I rowed competitively and was super lean) I was 138lbs, so I would like to be back there again

I used to weight myself once a week, but then went to everyday but this frustrated me due to natural fluctuations and i got a bit obsessed. i have now gone back to once a week.

I like her, but do find her phrases somewhat overused. She gets results, so I can put my small annoyances to one side. To 'phone it in' is to do something half arsed e.g be a phoney. One thing I have always disagreed with and even Olympic coaches say, is that you should never push yourself until you throw up. I was always…

I've always figured it's because you haven't eaten for many hours and your body processes have kept on burning the calories. My weight can fluctuation up t 4 lbs in a day. I actually find I am at my lightest a few hours after waking before eating anything.

I'm doing it. I am an awful runner, I can swim, row, play sports for hours, but I can barely run for 5 minutes. No idea why. I'm on week 4 and this week has really challenged me I must admit. Still i see my progress and this spurs me on. Still can't see myself running 5k straight though!

This what caused me to put on a stone and a half in a year. I now spend a lot of time in my car and at a desk. Reduce your calories and do some exercise either before you go to work or when you get back. I ALWAYS bring my own food in, that way it is calorie and portion controlled, I know exactly what I am eating and it…

I've always thought this as well. Someone is dangerously underweight and they are sent to hospital and forced to eat and pretty much shunned, yet people dangerously overweight are celebrated in BBW type things and it is considered taboo to criticise an overweight person. Both are unhealthy, one may kill you quicker than…

When I was getting changed and caught a glimpse of a body in the mirror. I thought 'oh my god look at the state of that'. Then I realised I was looking at my own reflection. I hadn't realised the mirror was angled at me, so genuinely thought it was someone else. I had always told myself I wouldn't let myself go down the…

Keep 'em coming ladies. you are looking great. I am only 5ft 4 but i have a naturally curvy frame, so am interested to see what others my height and build have acheived.

Whatever it is, it isn't pleasant!

Its chcolate on toast. No matter how they try and dress it up with how many vitamins or whatever it's got in it, it is still essentially chcolate and should be eaten in moderation, just like chocolate.

Lucy Mecklenburgh. Healthy and lucky enough to have curves in all the right places.

Thought that might be the case!

Seeing my whole family overweight, knowing my genes are against me (although only partly to blame) and knowing I never want to be like that. I know that if I keep it off, I'll never have to lose it all. But ultimately the feeling I get from seeing results and knowing I am getting stronger everyday.

Bump. I am 5ft4 (just!) and would LOVE to be 125lbs. I have lost 11lbs (161 - 150 in 9 weeks) by eating (I am ashamed to say) approx. 1050 a day and exercising 4 times a week out of naivety rather than intentionally eating so little. But surprise surprise i have stalled and am now upping my cals to net around 1200 - 1300 a…

Yay for you! I have decided I'm going to up mine. After intial rapid weight loss, I have all but stalled and everyone has been telling me to up them. So I am biting the bullet and seeing what happens.

It can take years to come. Someone close to me was obese for nearly 20 years before her lightbulb moment came. You admit the problem is laziness, there is no way to change that other than refusing to be lazy. You can't sit there and wait for it to happen, you have to make the chnage no matter how difficult it is and the…

I think it really depends on how heavy you start. If you start out only a bit overweight it's going to take you a hell of a lot longer than if you start out obese. I started off about a stone/stone and a half overweight and it has taken me 2 months to lose approx 14lbs, and that is on and absolute minimum 'safe' calorie…
